Today, several of our team members had the honour of presenting a cheque of $5000 to the foodbank on live TV! A special thanks goes to Alina Parau for leading this initiative, as well as Ross Annett, Peter Post, and Marc Miron for their dedicated efforts in organizing each charity meal. We also extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the charity meals throughout the year. As a food manufacturer we understand the importance of food security and will strive to continue lending a hand to those who need it this holiday season.

Jessica Kendall, one of our talented product developers, shares her journey and love for cooking: "I have always had a passion for cooking and creating recipes! Ever since I got my first Easy Bake Oven when I was young, I loved putting ingredients together and ending up with something delicious to eat 😊 While studying Culinary Management at Algonquin College, I was able to participate in the Canadian Culinary Championships, and work along side the competing chef from Nova Scotia. It was an amazing experience to see chefs from across Canada, creating unique and delicious dishes. Working with apetito HFS, has given me the opportunity to develop healthy and nutritious recipes that are served across Canada, that improve the well-being of vulnerable people in the healthcare sector, and seniors at home. I have had the opportunity to work on recipes in our healthcare range for hospitals, Heart to Home Meals and Meals on Wheels. It is very rewarding and motivating to be able to create flavourful recipes, that encourage a balanced diet and are designed with essential nutrients. One of my favorite recipes is our Chili Con Carne, which is available in our healthcare range. It is a Mexican inspired stew, loaded with beef, tomatoes, peppers, onions and kidney beans, and seasoned with the perfect amount of spices and just the right amount of heat!" We’re so excited to share Jessica’s dedication to making a real difference through food!
