The ACEC-BC Small Firms Council and Business Practices Committee have released a position paper to support both Prime and Subconsultants entering into sub consulting agreements. ACEC-BC and our members are a consolidated voice for fair procurement, balanced contract language, and working relationships that are premised on partnership and respect. Often our members work with each other through sub consulting agreements. Jointly developed by the ACEC-BC Small Firms Council and Business Practices Committees, this paper supports members to fulfil commitments under the ACEC-BC Charter of Membership. The paper supports firms entering into sub consulting agreements to consider shared risk, controlling and surviving risk, equity, and indemnity.
