Successful Inaugural Demo Day for SUITz Tokyo's Climate Tech Acceleration Program
The global acceleration program "SUITz Tokyo," specializing in the climate tech field, celebrated its first DemoDay, marking the culmination of its inaugural outbound and inbound acceleration program. Hosted by adlight Inc., the event showcased the progress and innovations of startups committed to combating climate change.
SUITz Tokyo's DemoDay, held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, highlighted the achievements of the participating startups after completing the first phase of the program. Out of the 25 selected companies, six received the highest award for their outstanding contributions and innovative solutions.
Presentations and engaging Q&A sessions were conducted in English, offering a platform for the startups to showcase their initiatives. The judging panel evaluated entries based on three crucial criteria: business feasibility, environmental impact, and potential for co-creation.
The awarded companies represent a diverse range of climate tech innovations aimed at addressing pressing environmental challenges. From sustainable farming methods to innovative approaches for combating malaria, these startups are pioneering solutions with global implications.

In its first batch, SUITz Tokyo selected 10 domestic startups for the Outbound Acceleration Program and 15 overseas startups for the Inbound Acceleration Program. Additionally, nine global VC companies and six domestic operating companies were chosen as partners to facilitate business co-creation in the climate tech field.
The initiative is supported by TOKYO SUTEAM, a startup support project led by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and partners. Collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and selected projects aims to maximize the impact of this initiative.
