Giới thiệu về chúng tôi
Blue Lobster is a carbon footprint tracker available on IOS and Android. Not only does this app empower user to monitor exactly their carbon footprints, compare them to region and global average, but it also gives recommendations to reduce or offset their emissions. One of the most interesting features of Blue Lobster is 30-day challenge. As we all well acknowledge, to turn an action to habit it should take at least 1 month continuously stick to the plan and the level of the challenge should be increase gradually. Blue Lobster helps you get familiar with climate actions from the easiest tasks such as turn off light when unnecessary or take public transportation instead of driving your own car.

COP28 Agreement Signals “Beginning of the End” of the Fossil Fuel Era UN Climate Change News, 13 December 2023 – The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) closed with an agreement that signals the “beginning of the end” of the fossil fuel era by laying the ground for a swift, just and equitable transition, underpinned by deep emissions cuts and scaled-up finance. The stocktake recognizes that global greenhouse gas emissions need to be cut 43% by 2030, compared to 2019 levels, to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Why is net zero important? The science shows clearly that in order to avert the worst impacts of climate change and preserve a livable planet, global temperature increase needs to be limited to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. To keep global warming to no more than 1.5°C – as called for in the Paris Agreement – emissions need to be reduced by 45% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050. Are we on track to reach net zero by 2050? No, commitments made by governments to date fall far short of what is required. Current national climate plans – for 195 Parties to the Paris Agreement taken together – would lead to a sizable increase of almost 9% in global greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, compared to 2010 levels. Getting to net zero requires all governments – first and foremost the biggest emitters – to significantly strengthen their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and take bold, immediate steps towards reducing emissions now. What is net zero? Put simply, net zero means cutting greenhouse gas emissions to as close to zero as possible, with any remaining emissions re-absorbed from the atmosphere, by oceans and forests for instance. How can net zero be achieved? Transitioning to a net-zero world is one of the greatest challenges humankind has faced. It calls for nothing less than a complete transformation of how we produce, consume, and move about. The energy sector is the source of around three-quarters of greenhouse gas emissions today and holds the key to averting the worst effects of climate change. Replacing polluting coal, gas and oil-fired power with energy from renewable sources, such as wind or solar, would dramatically reduce carbon emissions. Causes and Effects of Climate Change Fossil fuels – coal, oil and gas – are by far the largest contributor to global climate change, accounting for over 75 per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions and nearly 90 per cent of all carbon dioxide emissions. Main causes of climate change: - Generating power - Manufacturing goods - Cutting down forests - Using transportation - Producing food - Powering buildings Severe consequences of climate change: - Hotter temperatures - More severe storms - Increased drought - A warming, rising ocean - Loss of species Stand with us, together we can fight climate change ------------------------- 🌏 Blue Lobster Track today, act tomorrow, reduce your carbon footprint #BlueLobster #LobsterTechnologies #ClimateTrackers #CarbonCutters #MitigateForTomorrow #GreenFootprintApp #TrackToReduce #ClimateActionNow #SustainableSteps #ReduceYourPrint #ClimateWarriors #CarbonCapture

Main sources of CO2 emissions in the United States Transportation CO2 emissions increases associated with recovery from COVID-19 begin to leel off, with most increases in 2022 coming from air travel The majority of increases to the U.S. transportation sector CO2 emissions in 2022 were from increased use of jet fuel. Jet fuel emissions increased by 14% (28 MMmt). Motor gasoline emissions decreased by less than 1% (2 MMmt), and diesel emissions increased by 2% (7 MMmt). ------------------------- 🌏 Blue Lobster Track today, act tomorrow, reduce your carbon footprint #BlueLobster #LobsterTechnologies #ClimateTrackers #CarbonCutters #MitigateForTomorrow #GreenFootprintApp #TrackToReduce #ClimateActionNow #SustainableSteps #ReduceYourPrint #ClimateWarriors #CarbonCapture

What Is Climate Change Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Such shifts can be natural, due to changes in the sun’s activity or large volcanic eruptions. Climate scientists have showed that humans are responsible for virtually all global heating over the last 200 years. The average temperature of the Earth’s surface is now about 1.1°C warmer than it was in the late 1800s (before the industrial revolution) and warmer than at any time in the last 100,000 years. ------------------------- 🌏 Blue Lobster Track today, act tomorrow, reduce your carbon footprint #BlueLobster #LobsterTechnologies #ClimateTrackers #CarbonCutters #MitigateForTomorrow #GreenFootprintApp #TrackToReduce #ClimateActionNow #SustainableSteps #ReduceYourPrint #ClimateWarriors #CarbonCapture
