Over the years we have been privileged to collaborate with incredible individuals whose passion for community service leaves a lasting impact. This month, we spotlight Manjunath, a true YFS Champion from State Street, whose unwavering commitment to society and the environment continues to inspire. Speaking about his drive for volunteering, Manjunath said, “ For me, volunteering has always been close to my heart as it allows me to contribute to causes I deeply care about. My journey began in college with NSS (National Service Scheme), where I connected with communities and realized the stark differences in livelihoods. This inspired me to support the underprivileged and differently abled, bringing smiles and experiencing the joy of giving. As part of the Corporate Citizenship Council at State Street, I collaborated with Youth for Seva, who supported my vision of organizing meaningful events. Together, we conducted plantation drives for sustainability, Clay Ganesha workshops to promote eco-awareness, school wall painting to encourage children to return to school, and diya painting to support marginalized communities. The NMMS program, where I mentored students for scholarship exams, was particularly rewarding.” At Youth for Seva, we firmly believe that the power of volunteering has the potential to greatly impact society positively. Individuals like Manjunath and their dedication reaffirm our faith in this belief. More power to you Manjunath and we look forward to collaborating with you in the future as well! #volunteering #seva #corporatevolunteering

Youth for Seva - Bihar organized an inspiring program for students in the tribal area of Kaimur district. The activities included painting, rangoli, and essay writing competitions, designed to spark creativity and self-expression among these young talents. We were honored by the presence of the District Project Officer and District Sanitation Officer, whose support made this initiative even more impactful. Despite the challenging terrain, our dedicated team of 4 volunteers reached the school and engaged with 200 students, bringing smiles to this remote area. . . . #YouthForSeva #EducationForAll #InspiringChange #Volunteerism

Chiguru 2024-25 was a huge success, but the roots of this success go far back. Over 14 years ago, Chiguru began as a thought in the minds of one of our dedicated volunteers, Raksha Ramachandra Ji. Over the years, much like its name, it has blossomed into a huge gathering of budding talents from government and informal schools of the city. Here, Raksha Ji shares her experience of starting Chiguru and witnessing its growth over the years! Venkatesh Murthy | Dell Technologies | OpenText | Tricon Infotech |

YOUTH FOR SEVA (YFS) reposted this
I had the privilege to be a panelist at the CSR Conclave organized by Seva Sahayog Foundation on December 14th. The session was moderated by RAVIND MITHE ji, Executive Council Member, Seva Sahayog and I shared the stage with esteemed co-panelists Abhishek Lodha ji, CEO of Lodha Group, and Mrugank Paranjape ji, Managing Partner at MCQube. Our discussion centered on the 'Role of the Development Sector in Building Viksit Bharat.' In my response, I emphasized the need to look beyond economic growth and address critical areas such as: 1️⃣ Quality education in government schools – Bridging the significant learning gap between private and government schools. 2️⃣ Promoting positive health – Prioritizing preventive health measures to break the cycle of poverty caused by medical expenses. 3️⃣ Preserving values and culture – Supporting cultural practices that foster interdependence within families and communities. What do you think are the 3 most important focus areas for achieving a Viksit Bharat? I look forward to learning from your valuable perspectives in the comments below!

We were thrilled to receive incredible support from BSSS IAS volunteers and students. In total, we had around 18 volunteers divided into 3 teams distributing warmth during the long winter nights.
