“A milestone moment for us at TBOF - we’ve raised 58.25 Cr in Series A Round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha We started as a farm-grown brand in 2012, and over the years, we’ve grown as a global brand... Despite coming from generations of farmers, they were mocked by many. But after first hand experiencing  - Deteriorating quality of food  - Rising numbers of farmer suicides  - Country’s indifference towards it, they didn't lose their resolve to follow their passion. And in the last decade, they've proved themselves, for they’ve - Worked tirelessly to uplift farmers,  - Encouraged clean eating, - Shipped products to 60+ countries, - Built a strong community of 4 lac+ people. Last year on 31st December we sold 17,280 products in 24 hours from our website. - That’s at par with how much a national grocery app does in a day - We received orders from 34+ countries in 1 day - Our Ad Budget was less than the cost of 2 iPhones  - No celebrity Brand Ambassador How we achieved this is a case study for another day and calls for a detailed article - but today we are looking to double last year’s orders in one day. We were able to pass on the benefits directly to our fellow farmers by adding more margins for them in the next round of purchase. After a couple of months we started working with Paani Foundation and tied up with farmers across Maharashtra. For example - we started working with Renuka Mata Mahila Shetkari Ghat- an all-women farmer group to buy their urad produce. Due to their high product quality we paid them Rs 11,000 per quintal! A whopping hike of Rs 900 - way higher than the market price. In total, the farmers earned Rs 60,500 and they were able to grow the crops sustainably without using any harmful chemicals. This is just one story. We have worked with numerous farmers in 2023 to help them make a better living by giving what they deserve. At Two Brothers Organic Farms®, we have a dedicated team of Farmers Relationship Managers(FRM) where we work with farmers to help them practise organic farming, procure from them at higher than market price - making it sustainable for them.
