About us
Akshayakalpa is India’s first certified organic dairy enterprise bringing together a balance of practices based in science and the traditional heritage of dairy farming. At Akshayakalpa, sustainability is not a choice, it is a way of life. Our farmer-first, planet-friendly approach ensures every product that goes from our lush farms to your fridge is rich in nutrition, free antibiotics, chemicals and preservatives. At the heart of our eco-system is our community of farmers. Our farmer entrepreneurship initiatives empower them by providing the resources required to emulate a business model that is not only profitable but humane, honest and above all, ethical. We believe in conforming to standards of what is good and right. At Akshayakalpa, this begins at the grass-root level - literally! Organic fodder grown on our farms is the source of nourishment for our cows. No chemicals or hormones are added to their diet and thus do not find their way into the produce. Our cows are free-roaming and stress-free, which positively impacts the quality of the milk and it is high in nutrition and taste. We are part of an on-going journey to create sustainable dairy farms which are a perfect amalgamation of our goal to nurture nature, preserve traditional practices and our scientific expertise. Akshayakalpa Organic milk is the main ingredient for all our products and it is here that we begin our assurance of quality and taste. Our milk is untouched by human hands, cooled via scientifically designed techniques and packaged with utmost care. This ensures zero-contamination and a high quality of product – both of which are tested regularly at our facility. Our Farm Fresh Milk and A2 Milk are used in our other organic dairy products like curd, ghee, butter, paneer and artisan cheese under the Akshayakalpa brand. Each of these products bear the stamp of sustainability, nutrition and great taste – everything Akshayakalpa stands for!

Why does waste segregation fail? More often than not, terms like “wet” and “dry” status quo bias, and a lack of clarity about the short-term and long-term benefits of segregation create confusion. A lot of people look at segregation as a high-effort task with unclear payoffs. But what if we flipped the narrative? Here are a few ways to approach it: Using clear labels like ‘kitchen waste’ or ‘recyclables’ can cut the confusion and simplify sorting. Helping friends and family members link segregation to personal goals like cleaner streets, greener and stink-free surroundings. Highlighting the impact of segregation on the health of sanitation workers to inspire accountability. Empowering and supporting local waste champions to lead change via education, community clean-up events, and programs that spread awareness about the right segregation methods. Change isn’t just about rules or penalties; it’s about fostering shared responsibility. Together, we can make waste segregation effortless and impactful. At Akshayakalpa Organic, we believe every action counts. Let’s pave the way for a cleaner, greener India—one conscious choice at a time. #akshayakalpa #waste #wastesegregation

What small tradeoffs can we make in our kitchen to create a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle? The easiest way to do this is by focusing on ingredients rather than recipes. We can simply start by choosing locally available, seasonal produce instead of exotic, off-season foods. Recently, Sameer Sisodia, CEO, Rainmatter Foundation, shared an interesting insight on the Good Food Talks podcast. He spoke about how the globalized food culture, driven by the hospitality industry, has made non-seasonal and imported ingredients widely popular. While these options may seem exciting, they often lack the nutritional value of fresh, in-season produce and come with a significant environmental cost. Seasonal eating, on the other hand, offers numerous advantages. It provides better nutrition, boosts immunity, and supports eco-friendly practices. They are also eco-friendly, as they support local farmers and reduce the environmental impact of long-distance food transportation. As we embrace the global food culture, it’s essential to reconnect with the benefits of seasonal, locally grown foods, promoting a healthier lifestyle and supporting sustainable practices in the process. Plastic takes centuries to decompose, breaking down into microplastics that seep into our water, pollute our air, and weave their way into the food we eat, harming our health, our planet, and the generations yet to come. While we can’t erase the damage overnight, every small step matters. Our initiative ‘Give Back the Milk Pack’ is a step towards making recycling a habit amongst our customers. Every Akshayakalpa customer has the power to spark change. If you’re already recycling, you’re a true champion, keep going! If not, there’s no better moment to begin. Together, let’s turn today’s efforts into tomorrow’s healthier planet.

What is the role of organic manure in making food healthy? Manure is the natural fertilizer that powers healthy soil and boosts plant growth. It’s packed with nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, that your crops need to thrive, ensuring the food you eat is full of goodness. So, how do you prepare it? Simple! Start by collecting animal manure either from the cow or your poultry and create a compost pile. Allow it to break down over a few months, turning it regularly to keep it aerated. The result? Rich, nutrient-dense compost that’s perfect for nourishing your garden or farm. Once ready, spread it around your plants, and watch them flourish. By using manure, you're not just feeding your crops, you are supporting sustainable farming and creating healthier, eco-friendly food for your family. #akshayakalpaorganic #organic #manure #soilhealth

India generates an alarming 3.4 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, ranking among the top contributors to global plastic pollution. Shockingly, nearly 43% of this waste comes from single-use plastics, such as those used during events like birthdays, where disposable bottles, cutlery, and decorations dominate. To combat this, Akshayakalpa Organic introduces Zero-Waste Zero-Junk Birthday Parties, a pioneering step toward sustainable celebrations and changing the way how we celebrate. With eco-friendly decor, reusable cutlery, and activities focused on fun without screens or junk food, these events aim to make a lasting impact—both socially and environmentally. By choosing sustainable celebrations, we can take a meaningful step toward protecting our planet and creating a brighter future for generations to come. Ready to plan your eco-friendly celebration?
