𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐆𝐎 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐃𝐅𝐂 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 We would like to highlight a disappointing experience we’ve faced with HDFC Bank regarding the generation of our NGO’s account. Three months ago, we submitted all the required documents to initiate the process. Despite following all protocols, we’ve been waiting for over a month now for approval from senior management. Throughout this time, we’ve been repeatedly told by the branch manager that the matter is pending with senior authorities. Initially, we trusted HDFC Bank to resolve this within a reasonable timeframe, expecting the process to be completed within a week. However, the prolonged delay has not only caused us inconvenience but also hindered the progress of our NGO's operations. What’s even more disheartening is that the branch manager has now suggested we retrieve our documents and approach another bank instead. This casual dismissal is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the bank’s commitment to customer service and reliability. We chose HDFC Bank because of its reputation for excellence and efficiency. However, this experience has made us question whether we made the right decision. If the bank cannot deliver on its promises, it leaves us no choice but to reconsider our association with it. We hope this post reaches the concerned authorities, and they take prompt action to resolve the issue. NGOs work for the betterment of society, and delays like this only add unnecessary challenges to our mission. We urge HDFC Bank to address this matter immediately and ensure that no other customer has to face such an ordeal in the future. Forest fires can be caused by natural agents like lightning and volcanic eruptions or deliberately due to unattended campfires, thrown cigarettes, arson and sparks from machinery. No matter the cause, forest fires can have a severe impact on the ecological cycle because: - It can cause soil erosion and loss of vegetative cover. - The species who aren't able to adapt quickly are led to endangerment or extinction. - It causes air pollution and increase in soot percentage of air. - It leads to increase in carbon dioxide levels and ultimately, making the conditions drier and more prone to forest fires. - It can cause respiratory issues in humans and animals. Henceforth, it becomes crucial for us to follow the steps mentioned, in order to avoid forest fires and the dangers it can bring. Reviving hummal urges you to spread awareness and take initiative to be mindful of our surroundings. #revivinghummal #teamRH #volunteers #NGO #forestconservation #forestfires #awarness

What's happening in Khalanga? 🌳 A vast area of forest is marked for clearing to make way for dam construction. This isn't just about Khalanga; it's a global concern because: - Deforestation disrupts oxygen and carbon dioxide levels. 🌍 - It leads to irregular rainfall, sudden weather changes, and contamination of natural resources. 🌧️ - These changes impact the health of humans, birds, and animals. 🐦🐿️ - Many species lose their habitats, altering migratory patterns, leading to population declines and endangerment. 🦋🐾 Swipe to learn more about the long-term effects on humans, wildlife, and ecosystem functions. ➡️ #RevivingHummal #RH #Volunteers #Khalanga #SaveKhalanga #Forest #ForestConservation #Afforestation #SaveThePlanet #SaveEarth #Forests #ProtectNature #ProtectOurPlanet #TeamRH

Stray animals day is celebrated every year on 4th of April, to cherish and honour the bond between human beings and stray animals and to showcase compassion towards the ones lost, injured, troubled or abandoned. The day was launched in 2010 when over 100 Dutch organizations convened at the Dutch National Stray Animals Conference. When it comes to animal welfare and their upliftment , the smallest of initiatives and steps have the potential to become big and have a greater impact than we think. To honour this pure connection and foster the core values of human- animal bond, here are 3 steps which each of us should implement: 1. PET: Affection and attention is what these creatures crave for the most. Understand their body language first, maintain your own safety and go ahead and shower them with love. 2. PROTECT: Storms, rain, extreme wind and harsh winters and summers can be a hard time for the strays as they have no roof over their head. Giving them a temporary abode when we witness their discomfort, can be beneficial for them and specially their young ones who might not survive otherwise. 3. PROVIDE: Finding some time to feed and take care of their nourishment, while also knowing what's safe for them and what's not can go a long way to cure the problem of starvation deaths. Providing does not only include food and water, but also first aid and medications on time, to avoid further spread and fatalities. Team Reviving Hummal extends their heartfelt wishes to everyone on this stray animal day. Let's take the initiative to follow the three Ps of nurturing the human animal bond, whenever and wherever we can. . . . . #strayanimals #strayanimalday #fyp #RH #teamrh #volunteers #cats #dogs #cows #feeding #protection #nurture #revivinghummal

"Unlocking doors to opportunity through education". 🚀 Education is a necessity but can be a luxury at times. Keeping this in mind, we conducted a stationary distribution drive under "PROJECT GURUKUL" and conducted a fun art activity, distributed sweets and got a chance to interact with them and their parents. Understanding the true essence of 26th January goes hand in hand with truly deciphering what lies within the young minds. The living conditions might be gloomy and dull but their eyes aren't. Their innocent eyes hold a vision of 'what could've been'. Their spirit and positive outlook on their life is what teaches us to see the brighter side, find happiness in the smallest of things and to forever be grateful for what you have right now. Give yourselves a chance to get rewarded with warm smiles and take small steps whenever you can. Every small step is a significant stepping stone on the path towards building a safe, secure and nurturing space for every underprivileged person. Every contribution counts. Together, let's make quality education a reality for every child. #educationforall #empowerthroughlearning #changemakers #transforminglives #UpliftEducation #unlockpotential #positiveimpact #projectgurukul #stationary #revivinghummal #republicday #volunteers #team
