Three months ago, we submitted all the required documents to initiate the process. Despite following all protocols, we’ve been waiting for over a month now for approval from senior management. Throughout this time, we’ve been repeatedly told by the branch manager that the matter is pending with senior authorities. Initially, we trusted HDFC Bank to resolve this within a reasonable timeframe, expecting the process to be completed within a week. However, the prolonged delay has not only caused us inconvenience but also hindered the progress of our NGO's operations. What’s even more disheartening is that the branch manager has now suggested we retrieve our documents and approach another bank instead. This casual dismissal is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the bank’s commitment to customer service and reliability. We chose HDFC Bank because of its reputation for excellence and efficiency. However, this experience has made us question whether we made the right decision. If the bank cannot deliver on its promises, it leaves us no choice but to reconsider our association with it. We hope this post reaches the concerned authorities, and they take prompt action to resolve the issue. NGOs work for the betterment of society, and delays like this only add unnecessary challenges to our mission. We urge HDFC Bank to address this matter immediately and ensure that no other customer has to face such an ordeal in the future. HDFCBANKs confession on misleading figures ...... Do you feel this is a right justification for publishing the misleading figures by HDFCBANK for Q2 FY 23-24 results.Where hdfc bank declared more than 50% growth in performance whereas the actual performance is in tune to 6 or 10 % as declared by some analyst on money control post my objection mail on the misleading performAnce. HDFC BANK published the performance from their own social media handle and released to the press but says they don't want to make a comment ??? HDFC say due to regulatory requirement they published this figure and they are in line to the statutory requirements but which regulatory requirement ask for false figures?? Even if they have to publish some manipulated figures they have to share with disclaimer .A tobaco pouch of Rs 1 can have a mandatory disclaimer. A small sip of rs 500 should have mandatory disclaimer then why HDFC BANK is having an advantage??? Why am I closing all of my business and personal accounts with HDFC bank? I'm writing to share a recent experience that has left me and my brother deeply disappointed and disillusioned. Last year, we had the privilege of meeting with a cluster head from HDFC Bank who visited us to discuss a policy. At the time, we were assured of certain terms and benefits associated with the policy, which led us to make an investment decision. However, upon reviewing the policy bond recently, we discovered discrepancies between the promised terms and the actual terms outlined in the document. It was a shocking revelation for us, especially considering the seniority of the individual involved. While we acknowledge our oversight in not scrutinizing the policy thoroughly at the outset, it is disheartening to realize that such practices exist even at the highest levels. As a result of this experience, my brother and I have made the difficult decision to close all of our company and personal accounts with HDFC Bank in the coming months. Additionally, I will sell my HDFC stocks, and we have resolved not to engage with HDFC Bank for any future banking or financial needs. I share this not as a means of casting aspersions, but rather as a reminder of the importance of due diligence and transparency in all business dealings. Trust and integrity are paramount, and it is incumbent upon us to hold ourselves and others accountable to the highest standards of ethical conduct. #hdfcbank #hdfc #bankingandfinance #banking

HDFC Bank, India's leading private bank, has significantly reduced the notice period for departing employees, slashing it from 90 days to just 30 days. A senior official stated that this policy adjustment aims to offer greater flexibility to employees while ensuring seamless transitions. The notification regarding this change was communicated to HDFC Bank employees via email on May 6, as per sources. Under the revised policy, even probationary employees will serve a 30-day notice period, with the possibility of early release upon approval from their reporting manager. This move aligns HDFC Bank with ICICI Bank, which made a similar reduction in its notice period in 2020, from 90 days to 30 days. Notably, Kotak Mahindra Bank and several public sector banks maintain a 90-day notice period. As of the third quarter of FY24, HDFC Bank's workforce has surpassed 200,000 employees, making it the largest bank by market capitalization. This policy amendment is occurring against the backdrop of heightened attrition levels within private banks, with HDFC Bank experiencing a 34.15% attrition rate in FY23, exceeding the industry average of 24.7%. The senior official noted that this change benefits both banks and employees, potentially enhancing productivity by mitigating the tendency for employees on notice periods to disengage. Despite attempts to reach HDFC Bank for comment, there has been no response as of press time. #HDFC #BankingSector #Banks #PrivateBank #Fintech #NoticePeriod #Reduction #Flexibility #EmployeeBenefit #EmployeeWelfare #Productivity #PolicyRevision #AllBoutBanks

Today we are going to talk about the incredible journey of India’s largest private bank—HDFC Bank. The story began in 1994 when HDFC Bank opened its doors, but the foundation was laid even earlier, in 1977 Hasmukhbhai Parekh founded Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC Ltd.), realizing how difficult it was for middle-class Indian families to obtain home loans 1990s, India opened its economy through liberalization, offering new opportunities in the banking sector. In 1994, HDFC Ltd. ventured into banking, and thus, HDFC Bank was born." "Aditya Puri, who had previously worked at Citibank, became HDFC Bank's first Managing Director. His vision was clear—he wanted to build a tech-driven, customer-focused private sector bank. "The bank's first branch was opened in Mumbai, focusing on retail and corporate banking. Gradually, it expanded its services to include personal loans, credit cards, and digital banking—making banking more accessible and convenient." "Digital banking ke yug mein, HDFC Bank ne apne customers ko aasan aur safe services di, aur ab yeh bank personal loans, credit cards, aur banking se lekar insurance aur investments tak sab kuch ek roof ke neeche provide karta hai. . . . . . . . . #trading #tradingforex #trending #instagram #reels #video #shorts #stockmarket #forextrading #gold #optiontrading #forextrader #finance #finances #viralvideos #stock #invest #investing #swingtrading #profit #memestagram #memes #memesdaily #stockmarketmemes

Goodbye Sir Ace banker Narayanan Vaghul passed away. N Vaghul was the last man standing who witnessed the changing face of India's financial markets in the tumultuous 1990s. From just a development finance institution (albeit as a joint sector with cooperation of agencies like IFC) Vaghul and his protégé, KV Kamath entered the newly opened banking industry. Eventually the banking arm swallowed the DFI. Remember in the 1990s when universal banking licences were awarded both ICICI & HDFC qualified and were among the seven who secured them in the first wave of liberalisation. It was more pertinently Kamath and Vaghul who single handedly groomed many women bankers like Lalita Gupte, Shikha Sharma and Chanda Kochhar. The 1990s were tumultuous years what with BoP crisis and the backdrop of the securities scam aka Harshad Mehta scam. It also saw the arrival of the rival to the BSE and electronic holding of shares. Don't ever think the tectonic changes of the 1990s would be ever replicated. Now his protege, KV Kamath is piloting Jio Financial. What a banker man. This year we lost two bankers, Rana Talwar and N Vaghul. #LinkedIn #Indianeconomy #Indianbanks #ICICIBank

I made an income tax payment of ₹2,66,900, but the transaction failed. The Income Tax Portal helpline confirmed that the bank needs to issue a refund. Despite this, HDFC has informed me that the refund will take 5 days to process, while the tax payment deadline is July 31st. To make matters worse, my Relationship Manager is avoiding my calls and emails, and there are no clear escalation options. I feel completely lost and helpless in this situation. This is not what I expected from a reputed bank like HDFC. If anyone has faced similar issues or has advice on how to escalate this, please let me know. #CustomerService #HDFCBank #TaxPayment #Frustration #Escalation

Frustration Beyond Words: HDFC Bank, This is Unacceptable! HDFC Bank Reserve Bank of India (RBI) HDFC Limited I never expected that something as simple as updating employer details and receiving a new debit card would turn into a three-month-long nightmare. I've been trying to update my employer details through HDFC Bank’s platform for nearly 90 days now, but I’m not receiving any OTPs required to complete the process. Despite multiple visits to the branch and reporting the issue to the bank manager, I’ve received nothing but empty promises that “we’re working on it.” Seriously? How long does it take to fix an OTP issue? It’s just an OTP, not rocket science! I rely on my debit card for daily expenses and withdrawing money, and this delay is causing significant inconvenience. Meanwhile, the bank never misses a beat when it comes to bombarding me with calls and messages about credit cards and personal loans. If only they were as proactive in solving customer issues as they are in selling products! HDFC Bank, this level of service is absolutely unacceptable. I demand immediate action to resolve this issue, and I expect a prompt and proper response. Enough is enough!
