ITC’s Water Stewardship Programme won the gold prize at Financial Express Green (FE) Sarathi Awards 2024. The award recognized ITC’s #watersecurity efforts in community catchments, promoting responsible water use through interventions linked to adaptation and mitigation. The programme ensures sustained access to water by achieving Positive Water Balance through supply-side augmentation and demand-side management with an impact on reduction of carbon emission. The award also highlights integration of the programme with digital solutions, leveraging innovations, promoting #farmerempowerment, and building robust monitoring systems. The Financial Express (FE) Green Sarathi Award recognises outstanding achievements in sustainability and #ESG, considering dimensions of strategy, implementation effectiveness and innovation. #TheITCWay #Sustanability #PlanetPositive #WaterStewardship

ITC’s Interrobang designed to foster collaboration between industry and #academia, has generated over 50,000 innovative ideas, with many successfully implemented. The programme has also become an important #recruitment channel for ITC, with an opportunity to spot some of the sharpest minds in India. “Interrobang is all about providing the brightest minds at India’s premier campuses the opportunity to engage with real-world business challenges. ITC is scaling up the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants to expand its presence in the fast-growing health and #wellness products market in food, personal care and other categories. The initiative will support ITC's #FMCG ambitions and leverage the B2B #nutraceuticals space.
