They say the proof of the pudding is in the eating, but in the space industry, it's all about the thruster burns and docking turns! We’re thrilled to announce that InspeCity has won two prestigious iDEX - DIO Prime X Challenges by the Defence Space Agency – a monumental moment for us: 1. Space-grade Robotic Arm with Ground-Control for Orbital Transfer Vehicles : Well, because handling satellites in space is wayyyy cooler than handling cutlery on Earth. 2. Intelligent Object Identification System with LIDAR and EO sensors - think Sherlock Holmes, but in space and with lasers. These wins validate our thesis, our relentless work, and the tenacity of our brilliant team! Winning challenges for ALL our core technologies at such an early stage is no small feat - it’s a clear signal that we're ready to extend satellite life and bring cutting-edge innovations into orbit. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the support of: *Our mentors who always push us to aim higher. *The Defence Space Agency for trusting a young team to build critical tech for the nation. *The customers and partners who believed in our vision. *And of course, our amazing team who make the impossible seem routine every single day! We’re excited about the road ahead, and with these iDEX victories, the journey to full-scale deployment of these technologies for satellite life extension is well underway. As for our robotic arm and RPO stack, Well!, they’re all geared up to make space more serviceable, sustainable, and, dare we say, stylish (You'll know what we mean when you see it) :p Here’s to dreaming big and building bigger! 🎉 #iDEX #InspeCity #SpaceInnovation #SatelliteLifeExtension #SpaceTech Vishesh Rajaram Arjun Rao Sunil Cavale Nitin Sharma Rajiv Srivatsa Avijeet Alagathi Vasant Rao Shaji Varghese Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship -SINE IIT Bombay Divyanshi Chowdhary Dhruv Ranjan Mihir Jha Ravish Ratnam

"Space cities should bring us closer to Earth, not farther," shares Prof. Arindrajit Chowdhury, CEO of InspeCity. He envisions a future where humanity creates thriving habitats in orbit built not to escape our planet, but to enhance our connection to it. With each breakthrough, InspeCity is pioneering technologies that not only sustain life in space but promise a more sustainable future for all of us. At the 21st edition of an iconic Deep Tech event, held by nasscom, our CEO joined an inspiring panel, Guardians of the Galaxy: Securing Earth's Orbit and Expanding Our Horizons, with Nitish Singh of Astrogate Labs and Vishesh Rajaram of Speciale Invest. Prof. Arindrajit marveled at the shared passion for innovation at the summit, and highlighted a key message for Indian startups: “Resources are abundant, but the true challenge lies in building self-belief.” With this conviction, Indian innovators can break perceived limitations and reach global heights. The panel delved into India’s progress in space technology, the challenges of securing Earth’s orbit, satellite communications, and the future of sustainable space exploration. Insightful takeaways emerged, propelling us toward new frontiers! #SpaceTech #Innovation #IndianStartups #InspeCity hashtag #nasscomfutureforge202 Arjun Rao Sunil Cavale Nitin Sharma Rajiv Srivatsa Avijeet Alagathi Vasant Rao Shaji Varghese Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship -SINE IIT Bombay Divyanshi Chowdhary Dhruv Ranjan Mihir Jha Ravish Ratnam

Breaking news (a bit late, but stellar nonetheless)! India's Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, has announced a ₹1,000 crore venture capital fund to supercharge Space Technology Startups. With this fund, the government aims to expand the Indian space economy fivefold in the next decade, benefiting startups directly. For companies like InspeCity, this isn't just rocket fuel, it's the whole launch pad! More financial resources, innovation opportunities, and a thriving ecosystem mean we're set to reach for the stars (literally). And to top it off, they’re axing the dreaded angel tax! Investors everywhere can finally breathe easy. It seems the government took a hint from our satellites and decided to eliminate unnecessary weight :p With Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L-1 paving the way, and now this generous fund, the future of India's space sector looks brighter than ever. Let's just hope they remember to carry the one in all those budget calculations. 😉 Vishesh Rajaram Arjun Rao Sunil Cavale Nitin Sharma Rajiv Srivatsa Avijeet Alagathi Vasant Rao Shaji Varghese Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship -SINE IIT Bombay Divyanshi Chowdhary Dhruv Ranjan Mihir Jha Ravish Ratnam #SpaceEconomy #Innovation #Startups #InspeCity #IndianSpaceIndustry #VCFunding https://lnkd.in/gJtkk2qa
