Seems like the Ask Senior page is getting some traction over the past few days 👀 Ask Senior is currently a competitive programming venture aimed at simplifying the journey for a novice programmer. - Our compiled sheet at https://asksenior.in/learn gives you access to 1600+ handpicked problems from all the topics you will need to succeed here. - 40% of the problems on our platform have comprehensive video solutions attached alongside them. We are continuously expanding the solution archive. - We are also working side by side on some very awesome tools for competitive programmers, which will definkktely come in handy for your practice. We will soon be launching an "upsolve" section on the website, where you will be able to upsolve the latest contests, with hints, editorials and whatnot. - The profile section was updated recently as well. Comment down below what do you want to see on the website, and/or what you're expecting from us in the near future. We'll make it happen 🔥. Jaskaran Singh Ashish Kumar

  • Coding Challenges: The Alternating Prime Problem (Asked in Samsung) Hello LinkedIn network! I recently engaged with a fascinating coding problem known as the “Alternating Prime” challenge, commonly featured in technical interviews at Samsung. This problem is also available in our “Ask Senior OA problem collection” for anyone looking to practice. Problem Overview: Construct an alternating sequence from an array where each prime is followed by a non-prime and vice versa. The goal is to minimize the penalty by maximizing the use of the given integers. Why It’s Captivating: • Tests understanding of prime numbers. • Utilizes efficient algorithms like the Sieve of Eratosthenes. • Challenges strategic data organization to minimize penalties. Approach: 1. Identify Prime Numbers: Use a precomputed list of primes for quick identification. 2. Classify and Organize Numbers: Sort the integers into prime and non-prime categories. 3. Construct the Sequence & Calculate Penalty: Strategically alternate between the categories to use as many integers as possible. Try it here in our AskSenior OA problem collection! I’ve known Ashish Kumar since our days at TLE Eliminator, where he was tirelessly building the platform from the ground up. Even back then, his passion and commitment stood out. Now, we’re on this exciting journey together with Ask Senior, and I can confidently say we wouldn’t have made it this far without him. Whether it’s solving technical challenges or brainstorming new ideas, Ashish has always been my biggest support, making the impossible feel achievable. AskSenior has grown to 14K+ users, and we’re scaling fast with our eyes set on 50K+. Along the way, we’re building new features and exploring fresh tech stacks, especially around GSoC, to empower even more learners. But beyond the growth and numbers, what truly matters is having Ashish by my side. His dedication, energy, and belief in our vision mean everything to me. I couldn’t ask for a better partner on this journey. Here’s to many more milestones ahead and building something truly impactful together! Check out our sheets at asksenior.in/learn.

Finally, I've achieved a green rating on Codeforces, with my all-time best overall rank of 954 (though in Div 4). After months of struggling, it feels great to attain the Pupil status. I owe a huge thank you to Ashish Kumar and Jaskaran Singh for the Ask Senior its greedy section proved incredibly beneficial. A special thanks to Anush vishwakarma for tirelessly drilling logic into me numerous times. I'm immensely grateful to all my buddies for providing the competitive environment my college lacks. Once again, thank you all so much 😊 .
