Job Title: HR & Accounts Officer
Location: Mohali
Position Type: Full-time
Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000

Human Resources Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, and scheduling interviews. Coordinate employee onboarding, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
• Employee Records & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date employee files, handle employee contracts, manage attendance records, and process leave requests.
• Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely payment, tax compliance, and accuracy in compensation. Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits inquiries.
• Performance Management: Help implement performance evaluation processes and support managers in tracking performance reviews and development plans.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure company policies comply with labour laws and industry regulations, assist in implementing HR policies, and maintain employee handbooks.
Accounting Responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Expense Tracking: Record and monitor business expenses, process reimbursements, and handle petty cash.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, analyse financial statements, and report on budget variances.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of combined experience in HR and accounting roles; experience in a small or medium-sized business preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for employee interaction and coordination.
