The AIM Leaders Council hosted its Online Meet yesterday, December 19, 2024 at 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST. We would like to thank our speaker Sudhir Tiku Refugee,TEDx Speaker, AI Ethicist,Futurist. VP, Singapore Asia Pacific Region at Bosch Energy and Building Solutions The topic of discussion - "The Ethics of the Ethics of AI" The talk featured Sudhir, a technical philosopher and strategist, highlighted the evolution from AI winter to AI summer, emphasizing the challenges faced during funding cuts. He discussed AI's performance improvements, citing the ImageNet competition and the transformer architecture's impact. Sudhir also addressed AI's ethical implications, including bias in data sets and the need for consensus-based ethical frameworks. He proposed the Alan Turing Institute's ethical AI framework, which includes reflection, operational principles, governance, and outcome transparency.
