The Centre for Boudhik Sampada of RISE department at ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran organized a two-day workshop on Effective Patent Filing and Drafting in collaboration with PSCST, Chandigarh. Dr. Dapinder Kaur Bakshi, Joint Director of PSCST, inaugurated the workshop, and Dr. Ruchi Singla, Director (R&D), expressed gratitude to the guest for attending. Keynote speakers Dr. Dinesh Arora, IPR Head at CGC Landran, and Ms. Renuka Kukreti, Drafting Manager at Arctic Invent, covered patent basics, claim drafting, and specification writing. The sessions were interactive, with individual guidance and group discussions. On the second day, Mr. Aviraj Rohilla, Senior Patent Associate at CGC Landran, led a session on patent drawings and descriptions. Dr. Shelly Singla and Ms. Nitika Mehta, both Patent Associates at CGC Landran, conducted a practical session on drafting claims. The event attracted around 50 participants including startups. A live demonstration of filing a Complete Specification was also provided.
