Good bosses are good communicators, and they know that communicating with their staff requires some skill. An old girlfriend of mine who worked for a management consultancy agency says that it is important not to use blunt language. Blunt language is language that is too direct and not tactful. So instead of saying, I think your idea is wrong, you can try it in another less blunt way. Something like, I understand what you are saying but I see it another way. Try that one for yourself. I understand. I understand what you are saying, but I see it another way.
