The AR09 project, spearheaded by Kodd Bureau, is nestled within the historic confines of a century-old building, bearing witness to the passage of time and architectural evolution. Tasked with reviving the space stripped of its historical essence by previous owners, the project embraced a minimalist ethos while navigating immutable structural constraints. With a focus on functionality and fluidity, the design seamlessly integrated the space's inherent character, creating a haven where past and present converge harmoniously.

At its core, the apartment unfolds as a symphony of volumes, where each element plays a crucial role in shaping the overall aesthetic. The living room, enveloped by a discreet hallway and flanked by children's quarters and a master suite, serves as the nexus of communal living. Here, the boundaries between living and dining spaces blur, allowing for uninterrupted flow and social interaction. Warm wooden textures imbue the interior with a Scandinavian sensibility, infusing the space with a sense of warmth and familiarity.
Natural light streams through restored wooden windows, illuminating the space and accentuating its timeless allure. Soft textiles and thoughtful spatial planning enhance the sensory experience, fostering a serene ambiance throughout. Structural elements, meticulously crafted to delineate zones within the room, ensure functionality without compromising aesthetic integrity. In the master zone, a neutral palette evokes tranquility, while seamless integration of living, working, and personal spaces optimizes both form and function. The AR09 project stands as a testament to the delicate balance between preserving history and embracing modernity, where each element serves a purpose in creating an enduring legacy of timeless design and contemporary living.
The bedroom is formed as part of the entire space. The podium is a volume that forms a home working area and passes into a wizard of a bathroom. The unified decoration of all surfaces, in addition to the furniture of the bathroom, creates a more pleasant tactile sensation. All materials and shades in the master zone are neutral, creating a peaceful and calm atmosphere.
Behind the workplace in the bedroom there is a door leading to the utility room, which has different purposes: storage, additional home office zone, as well as a sports area located on the second tier. This room historically served as a black staircase, along which products were delivered to the kitchen of a profitable apartment, etc. This space was also designed from scratch, endowed with functions and comfort.
