1 dead, 1 wounded after shooting in Stanton
One man was killed and another was injured following a shooting in Stanton on Friday afternoon. It happened at around 4:20 p.m. near Orangewood Avenue and Court Street, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Deputies arrived and found the victim, identified as 18-year-old Jonathan Alexis Jimenez, suffering from a gunshot wound inside of a car on Court Street. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead, deputies said. Investigators say that there was also a second person inside of the car. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries that were related to the shooting. Several people were detained at the scene during an investigation by OCSD's Homicide and Gang Enforcement Team, the release said. Their status were not immediately available. Anyone who knows more is asked to contact detectives at (714) 647-7000.

The sentences were handed down by U.S. District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller, according to United States Attorney Phillip A. Talbert. Between 2011 and 2016, Aryan Brotherhood members and associates were involved in racketeering activities, including murder, murder conspiracies, and drug trafficking, according to court documents.
