Abstract

Today, it is our great pleasure to send a warm welcome to all participants of the 2015 ACM Workshop on Visible Light Communication Systems -- VLCS'15. This year's event is already the second VLCS workshop colocated with ACM MOBICOM. It continues the tradition of establishing one of the premier forums for leading edge resesarch in the exciting field of visible light communication. The VLCS workshop is a great opportunity to share novel research solutions that address the needs of current scientific and industrial trends in the field. We also hope that it will help attendees in identifying new directions for future research and development. VLCS'15 gives researchers and practitioners a unique opportunity to share their perspectives with other experts in the field.

We encourage participants to attend the keynote, the two exciting technical sessions, the invited talk presentation, the panel of experts, and finally the demo sessions at the end of the day! These valuable and insightful sessions will guide us to a better understanding of the future of visible light communication.
