The Heroes of Goo Jit Zu series 2 have landed and my boys love them!
They are squishy, stretchy and have a new super exciting aqua blast feature. We have kindly been sent three of these cool battle figures from Character Toys.
Heroes of Goo Jit Zoo Series 2
There are 7 Goo Jit Zu’s in total to collect.
- Gigatusk
- Blazagon
- Thrash – Featured
- Pantaro
- Redback – Featured
- Ultra Rare hydro
- Reptaur – Featured
The Heroes of Goo Jit Zu collection feature some characters that are super stretchy. In fact, they stretch up to 3 times their size and then shrink back to their original shape. Just like Redback below. Others are squidgy, scrunchy, goopy or crunchy.
Each character has its own filling. This can be revealed by giving it a big squeeze! Redback is filled with spider webs and Thrash has little white foam balls inside.
Reptaur doesn’t have any novelty filling. He feels more like a stress ball and is super squidgy. The different textures make them fab for sensory play.
New Water Blast Attack Feature
Series 2 have a water blaster feature which my kids love. You simply pop them in a bowl of water and press the head to fill it with water.
Then take it outside and have a fun water fight! Perfect for all of this hot weather we’ve been having lately.
What Do We Think Of The New Goo Jit Zu Range?
These characters are fantastic for imaginative play. The water shooter feature allows the children to battle with them in a different way. The stretchy construction always returns to the original shape and gives these action figures another dimension of play. Whether they are the villainous monsters or the mutant superheroes in our boy’s role-play adventures, I am sure that they will be a part of their playtimes for the foreseeable future.
