ULI Washington was pleased to host Sonia Chase, Michelle Freeman, and Kim Stone, M.B.A. in a conversation with Roberta Bosfield at our #WLIHolidayLuncheon at the beautiful and historic Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. We discussed the way women are shaping sports today – as an industry, as a real estate practice, and as a game changer to the way we experience professional sports as consumers and as lovers of the game. Our luncheon celebrated both #leadership and #community service – we were also pleased to highlight and raise funds for the longstanding partnership WLI has established with the Maya Angelou Public Charter School that provides students in the hospitality and business programs with a case study curriculum focused on professional readiness through the lens of real estate development. Thank you especially to Elizabeth Pye, Pam Zandy, Christine Roddy, Suzi D., Kristina Crawley AIA NCARB LEED AP, Meghan Leahy, and Jessie Ponce de Leon for your work and creativity to make this program so meaningful. A special thank you to Goulston & Storrs, Grosvenor, Kimley-Horn, QUASAR, Altus Group, CarrAmerica, Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, DFS Construction Corporation, GordonDC, LEO A DALY, Niles Bolton Associates, and RCKRBX for your support! And thank you to our WLI Impact Partners Capital One, HKS, Inc., and Holland & Knight LLP for your continued support of the ULI Washington WLI Committee.
