Managing Risk for Youth and School Trips: New ISO Standard Released. In October 2024, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) introduced ISO 31031:2024, now adopted as the British Standard BS ISO 31031:2024. This global framework is designed for schools, youth organisations, and providers organising trips for young people. It complements, but does not replace, UK-specific guidance such as the OEAP National Guidance. 💡 • ISO 31031 compliments existing guidance, aligning with UK laws and practices. • Offers a structured approach to risk management for domestic and international settings. 📖Curious to learn more?
