You can find us warming up to January 2025 with thermal simulation. 🔥 Thermal simulation can be coupled with electromagnetic simulation to calculate heating, and to fluid simulation to model airflow through the device to ensure efficient heat dissipation and cooling. Download your January 2025 calendar here! http://go.3ds.com/N0s

You can find us "ringing" in the New Year with Yousef Jafaraghaei's hot ring rolling process in Abaqus. 🍾 Because is there a better way to celebrate 2025 than with simulations? We don't think so. 💙

We spoke with SIMULIA Champion Roman Tkadlec, Principal RF Engineer at Commscope. He shared how his family background shaped his engineering career and explained his role for a non-engineering audience while highlighting the benefits of being part of the SIMULIA Champion Community. Check out what he had to say. 💙⬇️

How Tetris starts to look after too much coffee. 👀☕️ Okay... not really. Randy Marlow actually built this model to see what it would look like if the physics of rubbery Tetris were realistic. For the simulation facts from Randy himself, check out his post in our SIMULIA Community. 👉 http://go.3ds.com/gXe

When we think of the shortest path between two points – every child likely knows the answer, “it’s a straight line” – but what about when the points are not physical locations, but are points in time such as the start point of our design process and its end point of a manufactured product? Does the same logic still apply? Enjoy the read! ☕️📖 http://go.3ds.com/SSE

It is simulation happy hour! 🍻🎁 As part of the R2025x GA user assistance, our R&D department created a 3DEXPERIENCE example that illustrates how to define and run a structural simulation that evaluates the contact pressure between parts of an assembly. In this particular example, the assembly is a clamp that holds together two pipes. Between the pipes, there is a rubber o-ring that is intended to prevent beer (yes, beer 🍺🥰) from leaking between the pipes. Your objective is to determine whether the load that you apply to the bolt (that is, the bolt that holds together the clamp) generates enough contact pressure between the o-ring and the pipes to prevent leakage. Check out the post in our SIMULIA Community to complete the example yourself: http://go.3ds.com/apZ
