Newmark, the Metro Denver EDC and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade announce that bet365, a leading global online sports betting company, has opened its new U.S. corporate headquarters in Denver at One Platte, or 1701 Platte Street. The UK-based company expects to bring nearly 1,000 jobs to the Denver community, made possible by more than $14 million in job growth tax incentives. Newmark Executive Managing Director Andrew Blaustein, along with Newmark’s Economic Incentives Advisory team, secured the tax incentives from OEDIT on behalf of bet365. Blaustein, in collaboration with Newmark Director Josh Pons and Knight Frank, also represented bet365 in leasing the 120,000-square-foot space. The landlords, Nichols Partnership Inc. and Shorenstein Realty Services, were represented by Newmark Vice Chairman Jamie Gard and Executive Managing Director Jeff Castleton. Newmark announces the sale of 4690 Florence Street, a 100,175-square-foot, Class A industrial asset located within the Stapleton Business Center in Denver. The property traded from Pacific Acquisitions – an Anchorage-based commercial real estate investor and developer – to Hercules Industries, a Denver-based manufacturer and distributor of HVAC products.
