Nonfarm payrolls rebounded in November with an increase of 227,000 jobs from the muted growth seen in October, as the effects of labor strikes and destructive storms in the Southeast receded. The national unemployment rate ticked up 10-bps to 4.2% as the labor force participation rate declined slightly.
