Autumn has ushered in a new era for Ridge Hill! 🍂 This season, the property embraced the spirit of fall with the annual Ridgetoberfest event, hosted in the newly reimagined Park Plaza. As part of Phase I of redevelopment, this 17,000 square feet of previously underutilized space has been transformed into a family-friendly hub. The revitalized area now features greenery, including impressive 18-foot trees, inviting café seating, a play zone for kids, and updated hardscaping. These enhancements create a welcoming environment that will increase dwell times, bolstering support for our retailers and restaurants. Shoutout to the entire Ridge Hill team for reaching this significant milestone in our redevelopment journey. 🚧 Excitement continues to build as we look forward to additional upgrades to the public realm.

Our ExperienceMakers® shined bright at this year's BLINK festival, the nation’s largest celebration of art and light! 🌟 This year marked an exciting first as the festival expanded across the bridge from Cincinnati, OH to Newport, KY, illuminating Newport on the Levee with stunning installations and connecting it to the vibrancy of the entire city. The Levee team kept the energy glowing throughout the four-day event with live music, immersive experiences, and interactive art! 🎨

Last week, our ExperienceMakers® gathered to celebrate 10 incredible years of Avalon alongside the Alpharetta community! ✨ From groundbreaking to today, it’s been an unforgettable journey creating a space we've been lucky to share with over 65 million guests. The evening was filled with stories of how far we've come, the changes that have shaped us, and the special moments along the way. To make the night even sweeter, we raised over $7,600 for North Fulton Community Charities. As we lifted our glasses, we toasted not only to a decade of progress, but also to all the amazing things still to come. 🥂 Congratulations Nina DeCristofano, Natalie Mooney, Courtney Sanders, Paul Bodine, Steffan Vickness, and the entire team for planning a celebration truly worthy of the milestone itself!

This powerhouse pair at Colony Square knows how to elevate events! ☁️ They're taking October to new heights with Brews in the Sky, the property’s weekly event series hosted 22+ stories up on the helipad. What began in 2018 as a creative solution to finding event space amid redevelopment construction on the ground level has since grown into a highly anticipated community favorite. Amari Holmes and Catherine Long are keeping the tradition alive today in partnership with some of Atlanta’s best local breweries. 👏 Here's to good brews, great views, and the incredible team making it all happen!

Great time at Avalon for the GenerativeAI conference! Was pleased to also be joined on stage for the JLL Digital Solutions Advisory GenAI Real Estate panel by Karen Walker from CBL Properties, Adam Schwegman from North American Properties, and Mindy Rohr from Centennial. Was an insightful discussion on the current use cases, considerations, challenges, and dream scenarios around potential applications of GenAI on their respective aspects of the business.
