Join the American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) IT Management and Modernization COI September meeting for a discussion on U.S. Domestic Open Government Implementation with Laura Szakmary, GSA U.S. Open Government Secretariat, Public Engagement Lead. The U.S. Open Government Secretariat, housed within the U.S. General Services Administration, leads U.S. participation and membership in Open Government Partnership (OGP) as well as broader federal efforts on strengthening open government and engagement with the American public. The Secretariat is tasked with: 1. Leading compliance with Open Government Partnership membership requirements, including reporting on existing commitments outlined in the U.S. Open Government National Action Plans; 2. Leading federal efforts to identify new commitments and implement existing commitments outlined in the U.S. Open Government National Action Plans; 3. Conducting engagement sessions with U.S. civil society and members of Federal, state, and local governments regarding U.S. Open Government commitments and open government generally; and 4.
