Ray Ekenstam and his professional career in the fields of power engineering and industry applications. The Scholarship Fund awards, on an annual basis, a scholarship to a qualified undergraduate student who seeks an electrical engineering degree in the field of power or a related discipline, from an ABET accredited US university or college. The annual selection of scholarship recipients is administered by IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES). #pesawards #ieeepes

About us
The IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative provides multi-year scholarships and career experience opportunities to qualifying U.S. & Canadian electrical engineering undergraduate students. As long as the scholar continues to meet renewal standards, he or she will receive up to three years of funding interspersed with up to two years of valuable, hands-on career experience. The annual application period is March through 30 June.

In addition to the PES Scholarship Plus, IEEE PES offers another scholarship opportunity. The IEEE Power & Energy Society Erich Gunther Future Power Innovator Scholarship recognizes students in a power engineering discipline who are bettering their field. The scholarship offers $2,500 to assist with education expenses, a plaque, and a travel stipend of up to $750 to attend an award presentation ceremony. Submit your applications before the deadline, 30 June, 2024.
