DLA Awards 9 Spots on $3.2B C5ISR Support Contract
The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded nine companies positions on a potential 10-year, $3.2 billion contract vehicle for command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance supplies and services. DLA received 16 offers for the C5ISR Gateway to Sustainment contract, which has a five-year base period and five option years.
John Sherman OKs DOD’s Software Modernization Implementation Plan
The Department of Defense has released a plan to implement the goals of the Software Modernization Strategy and develop capabilities to streamline software delivery efforts. John Sherman, chief information officer of DOD and a 2023 Wash100 winner, approved the Software Modernization Implementation Plan.
