DevOps Culture and Practice

When DevOps first burst into the common consciousness of the geek lands I inhabited, Peter Lieverdink pointed out that in his web team of one, he was DevOps. There was no corporate bureaucracy, complex governance, or seperate teams in silos to hold him back. If he had communication and handover challenges, he only had himself to blame. We laughed.

At Red Hat we encounter many different ideas about DevOps in our work with customers. Whilst it's no longer new, it's still not practiced evenly. Check out this quick vid from our Europe team showing the Open Innovation Labs approach to DevOps.

More and more, our customers are calling on us to help them make the most of our Open Technologies by supporting and empowering their people, and revitalising their processes too.
