Venus Medtech (SEHK: 2500) achieved a significant milestone with the successful completion of the first tricuspid valve replacement surgery in the Asia-Pacific region using its innovative Cardiovalve system. This marks Cardiovalve's inaugural entry into the Asia-Pacific region following its successful clinical applications across Europe, North America, and other regions, symbolizing a notable advancement in Venus Medtech's global influence. The surgery was a collaborative effort between Professor Kent So's team at Prince of Wales Hospital, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a multidisciplinary team. Immediate postoperative outcomes were favorable, and the patient is currently recuperating well, with plans for discharge in the near future. This milestone also represents the first humanitarian patient treated with Cardiovalve in the Asia-Pacific region, underscoring the unique clinical advantages offered by this product. #QMPortfolio #QMHealthcare #VenusMedtech #Cardiovalve #TricuspidValveReplacement #MedicalInnovation

🎥 Meet Polina Shabes, Assistant Physician at the Vascular Surgery Department of the University Clinic in Dusseldorf, Germany. During the last edition of the EWMA • European Wound Management Association Conference in London, she gave an interview about the preliminary results of the research she is conducting in collaboration with Julian-Dario Rembe. 🔬 In their research, they compared pain sensation during sharp debridement to that experienced during DEBRICHEM® application. Both groups received various local ready-to-use topical anaesthetic approaches before treatment. The results showed that pain perception in the DEBRICHEM®️ group was comparable to that in the sharp debridement group. Importantly, the pain experienced during DEBRICHEM®️ application was well manageable. We are excited about these findings and their potential impact on improving patient comfort.
