Global electrification of vehicles and machinery: CONSTRUCTION Assembly technology for battery packs and electric drive trains Reducing the carbon footprint of commercial and municipal fleets CONCRETE MIXER TRUCK This concrete mixer has used our 2x230 kW axial flux motor integrated on the e-axle, which has more power, and increases the cruising range. The chassis layout space is more abundant, so the battery pack can be placed under the vehicle's beam, making its center of gravity lower. The incorporation of axial flow motors in the conversion of concrete mixers provides notable benefits. By replacing the traditional hydraulic drive in fuel concrete mixer trucks with an "electric power + motor drive" system, we achieve a separation of functions. This allows the engine to focus solely on propulsion of the vehicle, while an independent battery-powered supply is responsible for turning the top-mounted mixture tank. During extended periods of loading, unloading or other idle conditions, the engine may be shut down to reduce fuel consumption. The dedicated battery compartment ensures that the normal and accelerated rotation of the mixing tank is not affected. In addition, it satisfies the energy needs of the electric air conditioning in the driving position. The system intelligently harnesses excess engine energy to recharge the battery compartment, essentially without significantly increasing the vehicle's fuel consumption. This configuration optimizes efficiency and minimizes environmental impact during the various operational phases of the concrete mixer truck. Annual CO2 savings 2,900 kg per vehicle Annual fuel savings 1,100L per vehicle Improve performance, reduce fuel costs, reduce maintenance and reduce emissions DECREASE OR ELIMINATE ENGINE IDLE.
