Our main specialisation is in the sports area ("Sports Development Model" | "Complex football concept" | derived models and concepts), however, on the basis of the "Club Development Model of FDI" we also implement projects taking into account a broader spectrum of development. 👨🏫 In recent years, Marcin Gabor - on behalf of the FDI and on the basis of his "Football Identity" - has developed many concepts for the Clubs, defined a lot of substantive content, mapped out the strategy, led projects, monitored and corrected daily operations, carried out substantive audits, delivered lectures and held workshops, and provided advice. 📩 A few months ago, FDI received an enquiry from FC Revera 1908 regarding support in the long-term transformation of the Club. After fruitful discussions with the Club's management, we decided to initiate a partnership. The decision to inaugurate the cooperation was based on the fact that a challenge arose that was ambitious, interesting, difficult and at the same time allowing us to work in a conceptual way. We are currently still at the beginning of our journey together, but we have already made quite a few steps and achieved our first successes. We want to get the European football family interested in the FC Revera project, so we have decided to systematically communicate our intentions, substantive foundations, objectives, plans, tools and specific projects. In other words, we want to let you in behind the scenes of FC Revera and our cooperation, so that you can see that it is possible to build the Club in a more conceptual way. The Confederations Forum is a platform for sharing knowledge, tools, and resources, helping to advance governance and excellence in sports throughout Region 5. AUSC Region 5 convenes quadrennial Confederations Forums to create consultative dialogue with the sports movement. This year, the forum will specifically concentrate on effective governance practices that foster coach and athlete performance, sustainability of events, infrastructure development, safeguarding and inclusion in sport. The forum endeavors to validate requisite tools to enhance confederations performance and outcome harvesting systems to scale up investment in athlete podium performance. Wimbledon Embraces the Future: Line Judges to be Replaced by Automated Technology from 2025…🎾 From 2025, the iconic tournament will take a bold step forward by replacing all line judges with Live Electronic Line Calling. This decision marks a significant break from 147 years of tradition, aligning Wimbledon with the Australian Open and US Open, where automated systems are already in use. The Hawk-Eye technology, familiar to many players since its introduction on select courts in 2007, will now cover every inch of the grounds, including during qualifying at Roehampton. The decision followed extensive testing and consultation, with organisers confident that the technology is "sufficiently robust" to handle the demands of The Championships. While this shift represents a major leap in #innovation, it's important to acknowledge the longstanding contribution of line umpires, who have been integral to Wimbledon's history. The All England Club has expressed its gratitude for their dedication over the years. With this move, the French Open now stands as the last Grand Slam relying solely on human line judges. Will it follow suit soon? In another update, from next year, the singles finals will see a time shift, starting at 4pm, with the doubles finals kicking off the action at 1pm. The 2024 European Football Championship leaves a mixed impression on the hospitality industry in Germany⚽ The European Football Championship is over and the expectations of the hospitality industry for Euro 2024 have not been fully met. Germany's early exit put an abrupt end to the summer fairytale not only for the fans, but also for the industry😕 The DEHOGA Bundesverband reports that the European Football Championship in Germany has not resulted in any growth in turnover for the hospitality industry. According to a survey of 2,730 businesses conducted by the DEHOGA Bundesverband, around 88 % of the restaurants and hotels surveyed did not record any positive effects. Only 8.1 % were able to benefit from the European Championship, with pubs, bars and beer gardens in host cities such as Berlin and Hamburg reporting a better response. Dehoga President Guido Zöllick said that the changeable weather and the elimination of the German team in the quarterfinals had dampened the mood. Nevertheless, the European Championship was an important driving force for strengthening tourism in Germany. What impact did you see during Euro 2024?
