❓ How are we preparing new Indigenous Leaders for the challenges (biodiversity loss, climate change, land dispossession, cultural assimilation, cultural appropriation, ecological crisis, etc.) they face or will face in the future? ⤵ If you have participated in a leadership program or you're aware of any such programs that focus on collective tenure, land governance, stewardship, and related areas, feel free to get in touch with Brijlal Chaudhari who is carrying out a research on available mentorship opportunities for Indigenous youth. Share your knowledge and experiences with him!
Request 📢 Dear Indigenous brothers, sisters, and allies, Indigenous Peoples Leadership: How are we preparing our new Indigenous Leaders for the challenges (biodiversity loss, climate change, land dispossession, cultural assimilation, cultural appropriation, ecological crisis, etc.) they face or will face in the future? As part of my current efforts, I am conducting a comprehensive overview of existing leadership programs, both formal and informal, that offer opportunities for Indigenous youth at the local, regional, and global levels. If you have participated in a leadership program yourself or are aware of any such programs that focus on collective tenure, land governance, stewardship, and related areas, I kindly request you to share your knowledge and experiences. Your input will contribute to the compilation of a comprehensive list of available leadership opportunities for our Indigenous youth. Furthermore, it would be invaluable if you could highlight the specific types of leadership opportunities that our Indigenous youth leaders are involved in and identify any specific needs they may have. By doing so, we can better understand how to support and nurture the next generation of Indigenous youth leaders. You have various options to contribute to this initiative. You can leave a comment below, sharing your insights and recommendations. Alternatively, you can send me a direct message or email me at brijlal478@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for your time and contributions. Together, we can empower our Indigenous youth and foster their development as future leaders. #indigenousleadership #indigenousyouth #indigenousfuture #indigenouseducation

There is No Green City if There is No Blue Plan🌊🌊🌎 I am thrilled to share that I recently attended the 7th edition of the Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit in Attence. This incredible experience was far more than just a conference; it was a transformative journey that deepened my understanding of the vital role oceans play in our lives. Despite being from a landlocked country🇪🇹, I learned how our actions significantly impact the oceans. Over 50% of the world's oxygen is produced by the ocean, underscoring its importance to life on Earth. During the summit, I had the privilege to network with talented and motivated young leaders from around the globe. Together, we discussed innovative solutions and strategies to protect and sustain our oceans. I am honored to have received a Certificate of Achievement from the CEO and Founder of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance Daniela V. Fernandez , which I proudly share as a testament to my commitment to this cause. Let's remember that there is no green city without a blue plan. Taking care of our oceans is crucial for a sustainable and healthy future. No matter where we are, our actions matter. Let's all contribute to preserving our oceans for the generations to come. #SustainableOceanAlliance #OceanConservation #SustainableFuture #OurOceanYouthSummit #BluePlan #Leadership #EnvironmentalProtection #GreenGenerationInitiative #YouthLeadership #Youthprint #Africaclimatechangecommunicator
