We speak largely about the disfunctional nature of traditional management practices but too little is said about the disfunctions related with so-called #selfmanagement practices (which is a huge universe btw). Besides the fact that self management can, by definition, only work at certain maturity stages and in certain levels of a value chain, the amount of antipatterns I've seen emerging in self managed context rivals and probably trumps those that I've seen at play in traditionally managed organizations with thoughtful leadership.
