Many leaders feel their leadership abilities need to be improved. According to a report by Development Dimensions International (DDI), less than half of all leaders feel effective in critical skills such as building talent, managing change, digital skills, and strategic thinking. Additionally, a study by Deloitte found that around 85% of business leaders believe their organizations need to develop leadership capabilities more effectively at all levels. This sense of inadequacy can stem from various factors, including imposter syndrome, lack of proper training, and the challenges of adapting to rapidly changing environments.
