The act has also supported 72,560 jobs and contributed $8 billion to our nation’s GDP.

The Lester Centre of the Arts has undergone a critical structural upgrade, helping ensure the long-term survival of the municipally-owned landmark. The Prince Rupert Port Authority's (PRPA) Community Investment Fund collaborated with the City of Prince Rupert to fund and install new metal roofing, gutters, drains and flashing. This is the latest in a series of improvement projects supported by PRPA to revitalize this key City and community asset from top to bottom. PRPA committed over $317,540 to the roof replacement, bringing PRPA's total contributions towards upgrading the Lester Centre to more than $1 million.  Learn more at: https://lnkd.in/gpRuPfez

Crown Reserves Improvement Fund (CRIF) | Closing soon 🌿 The Crown Reserves Improvement Fund (CRIF) helps maintain and improve Crown land reserves, building better communities across the state by boosting our economy and contributing to the cultural, sporting and recreational life of NSW. This year’s CRIF general grants are targeting well-patronised reserves with projects that have high community impact. The program will offer minimum grants of $100,000 for projects and maximum grants of $1 million. Grants will be made available to maintain and upgrade reserves and the facilities on them. Funding will also be available to manage feral pests and noxious weeds on reserves to keep them in good shape for community use and to protect native plants and animals. 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀: 𝗜𝗝𝗠 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗵𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 The devastating floods that hit Malaysia recently have displaced thousands, causing widespread hardship. In response to the Prime Minister’s call for private sector support, IJM contributed RM2 million to the 𝗜𝗵𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱, which collectively raised RM35.8 million from 23 private companies and corporate bodies. The fund, coordinated by the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister's Department, will be used to meet critical needs such as repairing school infrastructure and providing aid to affected communities. This aligns with IJM's Community Investment Framework, which prioritises disaster relief as part of our commitment to the communities we serve.
