During this season of gratitude and giving back, our team was honored to attend the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Spirit of Hope Gala. It was an inspiring evening filled with amazing food, meaningful conversations and powerful reminders of St. Jude's incredible mission. We're proud to support this incredible nonprofit as they ensure no family receives a bill for their child's treatment. #VerisResidential #VerisCommunity #StJude

🌟 Giving Tuesday is over, but the spirit of giving should never end. 🌟 Our communities thrive because of organizations that dedicate themselves to supporting those in need—whether it’s helping older adults maintain their independence or guiding children and teens through unimaginable grief. Why continue giving? Organizations like WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging, Tri-County Office on Aging (TCOA), and the Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan ensure that older generations can stay in their homes, enhancing mobility and independence. These programs don’t just provide services—they give dignity and peace of mind to aging adults and their caregivers. Similarly, ❤️ Ele's Place West Michigan is a lifeline for children and teens processing grief. Their services, provided entirely free to families, create a safe space for young hearts to heal during incredibly challenging times. These programs depend on the generosity of the community. Every dollar contributed helps someone regain stability, independence, or hope. As we move forward from Giving Tuesday, let’s keep the momentum going. Consider making a donation or spreading the word about these amazing organizations. Together, we can create stronger, more compassionate communities. #GivingBack #CommunityImpact #SupportLocal #AgingAdults #YouthSupport #NonprofitsMatter

See how Advocates for Children CASA and CASA offices across the U.S. are changing children’s lives. Link below
According to National CASA, children and youth with a CASA volunteer reported higher levels of hope than those without a volunteer. A child’s hope has been linked to numerous positive outcomes such as academic success, overall wellbeing, increases in self-control, positive social relationships and optimism. You can bring this hope to a child this holiday season by supporting Advocates for Children CASA! Please consider making a donation between now and December 10 in honor of Colorado Gives Day at https://lnkd.in/gDaKTH53 Thank you for your support!

It may come as a surprise that Atlanta Angels Nonprofit operates as a data-driven organization. This is because our programs are not one-size fits all; they are tailored to the individual, and with that we seek to understand the needs and preferences for each family, youth, and child in our programs. Review our 2024 Mid-Year and Three-Year Report to see how we've deliberately focused on the distinct needs of those we serve in order to #changethestats. Access the report: https://lnkd.in/e3tr-nnu

Back to School Fundraiser Imagine a world where every individual is treated with dignity and respect. Imagine a world where all schools follow trauma-informed, neuroscience-aligned, neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-driven, and collaborative approaches. At the Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint, we are working tirelessly to make that world a reality. Seclusion and restraint are harmful practices that affect numerous individuals and families, particularly those with children with disabilities, Black and brown children, and children with a trauma history. Our mission is to reduce and eliminate these practices and ensure safer schools for students, teachers, and staff. We need your help to continue this critical work. A gift of: $20 can provide vital support for families. $50 can support training for professionals. $100 can help us develop workshops and advocacy efforts. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly impact our ability to promote positive change and protect those in need. Together, we can end these harmful practices and create a better, more compassionate world. Thank you for your support. https://lnkd.in/e2F_qdzV #EndSeclusion

I've been on the Board of Directors for the ROAD RECOVERY FOUNDATION for a few years and I can't begin to tell you what a great group of people this is. Everyone on the board has a unique and individual heart-driven purpose for supporting the mission of Road Recovery. gene bowen has been bicycling to each board member's house, place of work, etc. to video each of us talking about why Road Recovery is important to us and what we're most proud of that it's accomplished. This right here. This video Howard Neugeboren. ❤️ One of the things I'm proudest of is the music the Road Recovery young adults create! I think the reason so many people love music (myself included) is because music talks about the things that we sometimes just don't talk about with your friends, family, coworkers, etc. The hard stuff. So the music resonates and people listen to their favorite songs over and over because it makes them feel understood and heard. Let's get more comfortable talking about the hard stuff. Someone out there is going through something similar, right now. And they need to know others have journeyed through it too and come out strong on the other end. It's an honor to work with this team. For those interested in seeing the board member videos as they roll out every Friday follow Road Recovery's LinkedIn page and you'll see each member's video as they come out. If you're interested in donating, click the link in the post below and for more information on Road Recovery visit https://roadrecovery.org/
“Road Recovery’s connection to helping young adults across NY state has been a great comfort to me,” says Howard Neugeboren, ROAD RECOVERY FOUNDATION board member for 15+ years and survivor of childhood abuse. “The great thing about Road Recovery is their dedication, consistency, and longevity.” Will you join Howard to support our Rock-N-Ride fundraising campaign? https://lnkd.in/ekvC4Pmw
