Hey guys! Ora O. here and I’m taking over Aligned’s LinkedIn page today. Leveraging aligned helped me land my role at Remote. Making the transition to Tech sales isn’t easy. Most SDR job openings get 300+ applications. I had to cut through the noise and aligned help me do that. I started multi-threading the hiring team and Aligned was at the heart of it. I created multiple videos and resources to position myself as the ideal candidate. Aligned was the platform that helped me present it. Want to know the best part? I could track what the hiring team was engaging with! Here’s a deep dive on how to use Aligned as a jobseeker:

Here’s a valuable piece of advice for jobseekers: Start leveraging “digital rooms” during the interviews. This was an absolute game-changer for me! Imagine a custom space where you can really show why you’re the best candidate for the role. I’ve shared a few times my love for Aligned So I decided to make a deep dive video of how jobseekers can leverage this tool. You can give it a try for free ↓

Luis Báez, a sales enablement strategist who has worked with tech giants like LinkedIn, Uber, Tesla, and Google, explains why LinkedIn in is the best employment experience he’s ever had, what parts of sales make him feel icky and why you don’t need them, the massive value of community, how the same customers behave radically differently depending on the platform they're engaging with, creating a "water cooler" in a virtual setting, and accepting messiness. Do NOT stop doing something that's working because either A) Someone told you it shouldn't work or B) there is a new flashy thing that MIGHT work better. But, you should experiment with it. - Don't fire you mid-market team because you want to move up market. Do experiment by hiring an enterprise rep. - Don't fire your BDR team because you want to focus on community building. Do hire a community building expert to experiment. - Don't quite cold calling because pickup rates have dropped. Do experiment with alternative methods of reaching people. Life isn't binary. Run an experiment. If it works, accelerate and find alignment across your new and old channels. These methodologies work together if done right.

Avoid yes/no conversation stoppers. 👂 Active Listening - Do you build on my answers to move the conversation forward? 💲 Value Proposition - Can you pique my interest in 30 seconds? 🤝 Mutually Agreed Upon Next Steps (MANS) - Do we both know what happens next? I almost removed myself from my business 👌 This is why it matters: To grow Findymail , I need to work ON the business and not IN the business. I'm at a stage now where I need to take a step-back to have a clear picture of the strategic moves we need to do. When I started entering 5 figures per month, the 1st thing I did was to hire an assistant to handle time consuming tasks and helping me on customer support. Ever since, I pretty much hired someone new every 2 to 3 months. I started as a solo founder, we're now 7 (soon 8? we're hiring! 👀) in the team. Removing myself from the business also helps me raise the valuation of my company. People don't buy businesses that live without the founder. So I'm also creating value for my future self here. ---- Question: what steps are you taking to work ON the business and not IN the business. Activate the bell for more content like this 🔔 PS: I'm recruiting for a Sales Engineer full remote (Europe) - you can check the job offer on Findymail's company page!

We can't keep up. IntelliHost has created a new offer that is EXTREMELY easy to market, and as a result, we cannot grow our sales team fast enough. We've had to cut ad spend again and again because our current sales guys calendars keep filling up too quickly (from $200/day to $100/day to $50/day). It's an amazing problem to have and I'm not complaining, however, it means we need more killers to join our team and sign all these people up (and so I can start spending reasonably again) 😅 So if you, or anyone you know would like to join a quickly growing tech company in Utah (in-person, full time, in Pleasant Grove is preferred) and are hungry to make some great commissions, then click the link I put below in the comments and fast apply! p.s. the head of this hiring process is Tyler Keith if you'd like to reach out to him additionally. ------------ To be clear, this is primarily a closer opportunity where we (marketing) fill your calendar during the day with video calls, and your job is to inform and close during those appointments (with some additional follow up following the yes responses and coordinating with the account management team). #hiring #sales #closing
