I am deeply grateful for all the heartfelt messages of congratulations regarding my “ 9 years” at Good Things Guy. However, it’s ridiculosuly funny how we can sometimes find ourselves in a loop of automated responses on LinkedIn. Example (and I am sure this is totally relatable): Person: “Congrats on your work anniversary” Me: “Thank you” Person: “You’re Welcome” Me: “Awesome” Person: “Nice” Me: “👍🏼” Person: “Okay” Me: “Okay” Person: “Thank you” Person: “You’re Welcome” Me: “Awesome” Person: “Nice” Me: “👍🏼” Person: “Okay” Me: “Okay” Person: “Thank you” You get the point. 😂🤣

Gratitude is often a quiet force that sustains us throughout our journey. As we chase success, accolades, and glory, it’s easy to forget the foundational wisdom, encouragement, and mentorship that helped us reach these heights. Behind every milestone, every step forward, there are those who shared their advice, their time, and their belief in us when we might not have believed in ourselves. These individuals are often the unsung heroes in our story, whose impact is immeasurable yet crucial. It's important to take a moment to reflect and express gratitude for those who have been our guides, pushing us beyond our limits and challenging us to grow. They’ve provided us with the tools and perspective needed to reach the next level, even when the road seemed unclear. In a world that celebrates individual achievements, let’s not forget to honor those who believed in us, and continue to offer wisdom and inspiration in ways we often overlook. Their contributions are just as vital as the successes we celebrate. Today, let's pause and say thank you — for their advice, their encouragement, and their presence in our lives. The journey to success is never just ours; it's shared with those who lift us higher.

To celebrate 5️⃣ years in SaaS, here are 5️⃣ things I'm grateful for: 1️⃣ CHANCES: There are too many people to thank for taking a chance on me - I wouldn't have found my footing without doors others have opened. 2️⃣ LAUGHS: I've witnessed many leaders not only slap on a smile in tough times, but figure out how to make others laugh. Game changer. 3️⃣ MISTAKES: Honestly, I'm still figuring out how to be grateful for these thorns in my side, but if roses can rock a thorn so can I. 🌹 4️⃣ CHANGE: It's challenging to embrace change - the unexpected is, well, just that - unexpected. I remind myself nothing happens if we sit still, and reflect on the beautiful outcomes I've seen from change. 5️⃣ YOU: I'm not on here to influence - but to learn more than I knew yesterday. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for being here today. As we gather, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey that brought us to this point. Each of us has faced challenges, encountered obstacles, and experienced moments of doubt. But through it all, we have persevered, driven by a vision—a vision not just of success, but of making a lasting impact.Business is not just about profits or market share; it’s about creating value, solving problems, and improving lives. Every product we launch, every service we offer, has the potential to change someone’s world. This is the power of what we do, and it’s a responsibility we should never take lightly. As we look to the future, I want to remind you that innovation doesn’t just come from new technology or ideas; it comes from a mindset. A mindset that embraces change, that sees challenges as opportunities, and that is relentless in the pursuit of excellence. We are not here to follow the path others have laid out. We are here to blaze our own trail, to set new standards, and to push the boundaries of what’s possible. But this journey is not one we take alone. It’s the collective effort of each individual in this room that will determine our success. So, I challenge you today to think bigger, to dream bolder, and to act with purpose. Don’t be afraid to take risks, to challenge the status quo, and to pursue your passions with everything you have. The world is changing rapidly, and those who adapt and innovate will not just survive—they will thrive.Remember, greatness is not achieved in isolation. It’s achieved by teams who believe in something bigger than themselves, who trust each other, and who are committed to a shared vision. Let’s support one another, celebrate our successes, and learn from our failures. The future is ours to create. Let’s make it extraordinary.Thank you.

Today's Panos short talk: Ambition ↗️ 🆚️ Gratitude 🙏 We all know ambitious people that seem to never be happy with what they achieve. We also know people that hide their pathetic attitude behind a curtain of an explicitly sold gratitude. I have news for you: ▶️ Ambition and gratitude are not mutually exclusive. ↪️ They can be combined. 😀 You can remain committed to your ambitions and work for them and at the same time feel grateful for everything you have in your life.

We all need a partner to be successful
Vice President, Partner Insurance Office of America | Government Contracting | Defense Base Act Expert | CONUS & OCONUS Programs | Bid & Proposal Insurance Rates | Former US Army Officer | Picks up the phone!
This week marks the two year work anniversary with Laura Crawford. Without the partnership we have developed over the past 24 months, our successes certainly would have been far fewer. I consider Laura to be my partner. We have successfully overcome many ups and downs, but far more ups. She continues to push forward many issues that keeps us on track in more ways than one. Thank you for putting up with my antics and making me a better professional everyday. You are the best.

People love to say the "agency model" is broken. That companies will increasingly rely on internal teams, sole practitioners, or AI for creative services. And, that's probably true. But, as we close out 2024 (Wide Eye having had a strong year), I’d argue the best agencies aren’t about the MODEL at all—they’re entirely about the PEOPLE who work there. The right team, supported by a strong culture, can deliver creative solutions that no individual or AI algorithm alone can replicate. At their best, agencies are effectively teams of experts. They bring strategy, creativity, and collaboration to solve complex problems and drive meaningful results. They do the deep, long-term thinking so that busy internal teams can imagine and follow through on what's possible. So while some may see the agency model as outdated, I'm a sappy, true believer in the value of highly seasoned creative teams of HUMANS who together make each other stronger. The challenges of 2025 will demand bold ideas, adaptability, and collaboration—and I’d bet on the right, people-focused agency every time.
2024. What. A. Year. A year of bold ideas, brought to life. Thank you to our partners and team for dreaming big with us. 🖌️✨ See you all in 2025.
