How to work out what mental health support employees need? Ask them. That’s exactly what the team at Kearney did 💛 They ran an event for their colleagues to share feedback and ideas to improve mental health support, putting people at the center and uncovering what really matters to them. We’re so proud to partner with Kearney to turn their people's feedback into action and create a culture where everyone can thrive. Thank you Misty Rallis and Zoe Hazelton for leading the way with such care and commitment. It’s a privilege to work with people so passionate about supporting their teams 🌟

At Building Careers, we believe it's crucial to create a supportive environment where employees feel comfortable discussing their mental health. Similarly, with our family and friends, offering support and understanding can make a big difference. While initiatives like Mental Health Awareness Week are great for sparking much-needed conversations in the workplace, it's key to remember that people struggle with mental health all year round. It's important to understand and support those close to you 365 days a year. #BuildingCareers #BuildingCommunities #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MentalHealthMatters #MentalHealth #MHAW2024

How are you taking care of your people? We’re recognizing Mental Health Awareness this month as part of our culture focused on empowering and supporting our employees. Understanding our role as an employer in that has been a huge focus for our leadership team in the past years. When we think about wellness, we want to be a company that takes care of the individual holistically. A company of our scale with the foundational philosophies of taking care of our people first and foremost sets us up to provide access to high quality, affordable resources to employees and their families. Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of. As leaders, we have to take care of ourselves in order to positively impact others. If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, contact the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So, I challenge you to think about how you’re taking care of your people. How are you making sure they feel supported?

It is ok not to be ok. We are humans, not superheroes. Prioritizing your own mental health is essential. #WeAreHuman #MentalWellbeing #MentalHealthMatters #WorldMentalHealthDay
In recognition of World Mental Health Day, we were delighted to have Dr. George Obolo, a TEDx speaker and qualified medical doctor, join us this week to deliver his insights on the cultural influences that shape how we think and talk about mental health. Dr. George's presentation was a powerful reminder to recognize and appreciate these differences as we strive for improved mental well-being for everyone. At ERM, we understand that when we prioritize our mental and physical health, we lead more fulfilling lives and offer our best selves to one another, our families, friends, and clients. As an organization, we believe supporting and caring for each other is essential, acknowledging that well-being must be nurtured within and beyond the workplace. We are committed to fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and proactive mental health management, and we aspire to keep working towards a healthier, more supportive work environment. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealth #WellbeingAtWork

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. What does this month mean to you? For me, it means creating opportunities for open, honest, and even difficult conversations about tangible steps we can take to prioritize mental well-being and provide support in the workplace, this month and beyond. With only 33% of adults struggling with mental illness receiving treatment, it means that we could work with people holding in their struggles and pain. When we provide a true sense of stability and support for employees, it can have a bigger positive impact than we may realize. What initiatives have you or your organization taken to prioritize mental health in the workplace? What worked and what didn't? #MentalHealthMonth #MentalHealth #EmployeeWellbeing

Today is R U OK? Day. A powerful reminder of the importance of checking in on the people around us. Mental health is something we all need to care for, and sometimes the simplest question - "Are you ok?" - can make a world of difference. Take a moment to connect with colleagues, friends and loved ones. It's about starting conversations that might be challenging but are crucial. We never know what someone might be going through and showing that you care is incredibly powerful. This isn't a one-day event - It's a commitment to showing up and being there for the people we care about. Always
