We're thrilled to announce that CTSi has been awarded a Department of Transportation Phase II.B SBIR grant to further develop our low-cost GNSS abnormality detector! During this phase, we'll be demonstrating TRL-7 maturity by deploying a ruggedized receiver that monitors the health of GPS signals in space. This innovative technology will detect and report interference, including jamming, spoofing, severe atmospheric delays, and local degradation. Our units will integrate seamlessly with traffic management systems, alerting infrastructure owners, operators, and regulatory authorities of any GNSS signal issues that could impact connected and autonomous vehicle navigation. With future applications in mind, these units are designed for distributed detection and localization of unauthorized transmitters that interfere with GNSS signals. This grant is a significant milestone for CTSi as we continue to drive advancements in GNSS security and reliability. #GNSS #SBIR #Technology #Innovation #Transportation #Security

Motion sensors can be used on land, sea, in the sky and even up in space. They provide information for heavy machinery and defense applications, increase safety in cars, enable flight control systems, stabilize drones and in general enable devices to operate with high automation. Sensors can also be used in healthcare, measure the performance of athletes, and help to enable interactions in virtual reality. Nordic Inertial's motion sensor technology plays a pivotal role in advancing inertial measurement development. Check out our blog https://lnkd.in/dCu_CBQj Curious? Sometimes it seems to me to be taken for granted that there is a technology on the battlefield or in the market that can actually detect each and every drone, phone, control, or any other transmitter in the vicinity. But it is NOT! This is not a James Bond movie, people die from undetected drones every day, critical infrastructure is damaged or spied on every day. With the many videos coming out of Ukraine (and many other places, by now) where reconnaissance drones, FPV attack drones, vehicles or units actually approach undetected and cause damage, it is clear, that in many instances such a technology is simply not available. Some solutions have become very reliable if they know what to look for and that, unfortunately, is being lost to the incredibly short development cycles of the drone arms race. The only system, at the moment, that is constantly ahead in this race is R2 Wireless' passive RF detection and tracking solution, Odin. Tested already by numerous Western militaries and leading industry suppliers, we have a proven track record - time after time - of being the only system to uncover ALL the threats. In this domain, uncovering ALL the threats is all that counts... On top, R2 Wireless , is made from off-the-shelf components and is therefore priced at civil industry level, not like the usual military grade hardware. Feel free to come and talk to us... A live video taken from one of the #FPVs which (unsuccessfully) tried to challenge ODIN in the first of its kind C-UAS demo which we conducted in Israel earlier this week. R2 is leading the C-UAS domain with the most advanced RF detection capabilities, delivering full-spectrum dominance in the electromagnetic frontier. No terrain is left unprotected, and no threat goes undetected. #FPV #CUAS #counterdrone #electronicwarefare #airspaceprotection #DefenseTech #NationalSecurity #ResilienceTech #FutureOfDefense #Innovation #NationalSecurity

Reviewing 3GPP TR 22.837 on #5G ISAC use cases. While some are very interesting, some will likely never see commercial deployment. For example, these are some interesting - and potentially very valuable - use cases for ISAC, which no other technology can currently offer: 1) Sensing for UAV intrusion detection: monitor an area to ensure no UAVs enter it. 2) Health monitoring at home: use 5G small cells to monitor health KPIs, including heart rate and respiration (!) 3) Public safety search and rescue or apprehend: locate individuals even when they are not carrying a phone. There are also some that offer questionable value: 1) Detect animals and people on train tracks 2) Track UAVs (why when there is GPS?) 3) Use 5G ISAC to count calories (don't ask) More to come from Larbi Belkhit, Malik Kamal Saadi and the ABI Research team!
