Inspiring the next generation of #scientists, #engineers, technicians and business professionals is crucial for supporting the rapidly growing #fusion industry. This week, Tokamak Energy welcomed The Fusion Skills Council to #Oxford. The Council represents a diverse cross-section of the UK fusion sector, including academia, research institutions, fusion companies, and the supply chain, all working together to expand the talent pool entering our workforce. The day featured a Q&A with our CEO, Warrick Matthews; an update on UK Atomic Energy Authority’s Fusion Opportunities in Skills, Training, Education and Research (FOSTER) programme; and various workshops. These are exciting times for #fusionenergy, with significant investment from both the private sector and the UK Government, major strides towards net energy production, and technological breakthroughs with exciting commercial potential. By collaborating, we can build skills and foster a culture of inclusivity and creativity, where new ideas and innovations can thrive. Our work is just beginning, so keep a look out for future updates! #FusionForAll #CleanEnergyTransition
Educating and inspiring, well done #TokomakEnergy and good luck with the great work being done!
