You heard it before, if you want to achieve results, you need to train at least X times in a week. I say: You can see progress training once a week... ... if you do your homework after gym time. 99% of the time life happens outside the training. In my opinion that's where you will see the biggest gains. I recently started summarising concepts that we used in our 1-on1 sessions on video and sending them to my clients so they retain that information and get working on what will get them to the next level faster. They get homework to prime their bodies and mind for the next session. It is helping them not only build healthy habits in their daily lives, but also understand why we do what we do. What you can expect from working with me: - A true personalised approach to training - A safe place to train - Knowledge beyond only training - A fun way to discover how your body works - Interesting movement concepts - A great body awareness I want my clients to take control of their own health. With knowledge they can. If you are curious about how my coaching approach can help you further with your health, DM me "homework" and lets chat.

What exactly do I do as a Teacher Wellness Coach? This is a question I get a lot, and I’m always happy to answer! In a nutshell, I help educators figure out where they are right now, where they want to be, and what steps they can take to close the gap between the two, all with support and encouragement along the way. Here’s what that process looks like: 1️⃣ Clarifying your goals: Whether it’s career milestones, personal wellness, or balancing both, I help you define what success means to you. 2️⃣ Identifying roadblocks: Together, we explore what’s getting in your way—whether it’s burnout, time constraints, or just not knowing where to start. 3️⃣ Developing a plan: I work with you to create actionable strategies for achieving your goals, and I’ll be your biggest cheerleader every step of the way. If you’re feeling stuck or simply want guidance on pursuing your goals, let’s connect—I’d love to help! //Kicki Sustainability and- Teacher Wellness coach #TeacherWellness #EducatorSupport #TeacherSelfCare #InstructionalCoaching #GoalSetting #ProfessionalGrowth #TeacherLife #kickislifedesign

Maintaining wellness is crucial for being effective educators throughout the school year. Here are the key takeaways from Erin Tashian's talk for the Classroom Management Teacher Summit: 🧘♀️ Daily Self-Care: Incorporate small, intentional breaks, set boundaries, and have mindful beginnings and endings to prevent burnout. 🥰 Self-Awareness: Regular check-ins help us stay connected and empathetic toward ourselves and students, aiding in resilience. 🚧 Boundaries: Establish personal boundaries to manage time and energy. Identify and handle energy drainers effectively. 🌈 Grace: Embrace grace and self-forgiveness. It's okay to not execute self-care perfectly; extend that grace to yourself and your students. 📌 Visual Reminders: Use visual cues like Post-its with messages such as "It begins with us" to keep your focus on wellness. 🌟 Mindful Transitions: Be intentional about how you start and end activities to support wellness and reflection. 📚 Growth Mindset: Stay open, curious, and embrace a growth mindset to enhance your personal development and resilience.
