"Hezbollah, a Lebanese Shia Islamist political party and militant group,[1][2] has an exceptionally strong military wing, thought to be stronger than the Lebanese Army[3][4] and equivalent to the armed strength of a medium-sized army.[5][a] A hybrid force, the group maintains "robust conventional and unconventional military capabilities",[7] and is generally considered to be the most powerful non-state actor in the world.[8][9][b][7][11]" https://lnkd.in/gDFvYhuq

#Logistics #SCM The word "logistics" was first used in English in 1846. It comes from the French word logistique, which was either coined or popularized by Swiss military officer Antoine-Henri Jomini in his 1838 book Summary of the Art of War. The term "logistics" has its origins in the military, where it refers to the process of supplying troops, equipment, and supplies to a theater of war. Mehdi Raza is so eloquent as always.
Mehedi debated an Israeli colonel/ex-spokesman on @piersmorgan’s show. “I’m not sure how Jonathan sleeps at night watching people burn to death thanks to the military he served, that is now being investigated at the ICJ & the ICC.”

HOW WE TELL, OR WRITE, A WAR STORY As Remembrance Day approaches, our honour, gratitude and respect for those who fought for all of us erupts in a huge surge of love. By capturing our ancestor’s war experiences – or someone who is still alive today – we help to breathe life into history texts, and we put a face to those who suffered through conflict: from coast guards, to air force recruits, to military forces. We may be walking through a minefield here as we endeavour to write these stories, but we handle the stories carefully, in order to do our soldier a great honour. Read more https://lnkd.in/gKKsg257

What mana. This man will be able to impart such wisdom and value .
NEWS📢 New Zealand’s only living recipient of the Victoria Cross, Willie Apiata, has been appointed a Special Representative to our Defence Force and promoted to Honorary Warrant Officer Class One (WO1). The appointment and promotion was carried out in front of family and colleagues at Papakura Military Camp, home of New Zealand’s Special Forces, by outgoing Chief of Defence Force, Air Marshal Kevin Short. “Promotion to Honorary Warrant Officer rank is a first for the NZDF and this is a reflection of the mark of the man. He is a humble Kiwi, who every day lives the values of the Defence Force. He will pass on his knowledge and experience to our new recruits and to our new leaders as a coach and mentor, to help create a better culture and a better ethos for the NZDF.” ~ Chief of Army, Major General John Boswell Read more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gnHrqNkt #Force4NZ

Polish food is delicious as well!!
How good are U.S.-made MRE's? This Polish two-star general offers a personal insight after sampling three different kinds. Watch the general's reaction! Maj. Gen. Maciej Jablonski’s (Polish Army) role as Deputy Commanding General is part of the U.S. Army's Military Personnel Exchange Program (MPEP). He is V Corps’ second DCG-Interoperability. V Corps is critical to the Army’s enduring support to NATO, and the presence of a Polish leader in V Corps represents the ironclad alliance which NATO embodies.
