Why we haven’t doubled in profit? 👀 Wow Future Stars Coaching LTD this photo popped up on our socials from 6 years ago. Lovely to see some old & familiar faces that helped us along our way on our 16 year journey from myself and a bag of balls on Day 1 🙏🏼 We’ve doubled in size since this photo, both in amount of staff and turnover. But we haven’t in Profit 😢 Here are some of the reasons why: ✅ We’ve firstly made it a career for our coaches and pay the most in our industry with a career pathway through our continuous growth. ✅ We’ve gone form 1 Coach Development Manager to now having 8. ✅ We now have a lead manager for every programme we deliver. ✅ The office team has doubled in size based on the amount of children we now work with to appease our customers needs. ✅ We’ve bought in an operations director and commercial director with huge experience. ✅ We’ve spent 2 years investing in our Franchsie offering and bought in someone to lead this. ✅ We’ve invested in a brand new bespoke Website & Booking System that has so far taken 18 months to develop and keep developing. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve all achieved over the years and continually standing out and being recognised by schools and parents for our quality and constant desire to learn and develop. You need good people to make a great organisation and that journey doesn’t end, I’m always recruiting even if we don’t have a current position, we will. We’ve created all of this so our franchisees can flourish and in year 1 have a profitable business using all our expertise at HQ. What a ride we’ve been on so far and I’ve never been more engaged or passionate to take this to the next level. We now have everything and everybody in the right places, however no doubt that will have developed again in the next 6 years ❤️
Throwback on a Thursday... 6 years ago at our old friends Portishead Primary School during a staff training evening. A lot of fun running around and learning new warm up games with Staff Development Lead, Luke Farley A lot more hair and a lot less greys in this photo : )

A rite of passage is the tradition associated with moving from one group to another. For the children in my area, this involves water guns, water balloons and silly string on the last day of school (usually when they get off the bus). This year, my oldest wanted to be picked up in carpool on the last day (possibly to avoid the ceremony) so like any good mother, I devised a plan to keep the tradition alive. Sure, the water guns were smaller and the event only lasted a few seconds, but the look on their faces as I squirted my son and his friends out the passenger window was priceless. As a parent, my social media feed is full of ideas to celebrate milestones, but as a leader, I’m generally left to my own creativity when it comes to creating traditions and ceremonies. What if we all decided to help each other out and fill the comments below with ideas for creating a rite of passage for our professional teams? I’ll go first (see below) #engineeringleadershipsolutions #teambuilding #riteofpassage

I PLEDGE my HEAD to clearer thinking, my HEART to greater loyalty, my HANDS to larger service, and my HEALTH to better living, for my family, my club, my community, my country and my world. This is the 4-H Pledge that youth and adults recite at the opening of each meeting. In the spirit of that pledge to clearer thinking, we ask “is there a future for 4-H in Sherburne County?” Last summer, the 4-H horse project funded and painted the barns to freshen them up for fair. Imagine the disappointment as everything the kids worked to prepare for was deluged with rain through the failing roofs on the horse barns as several waves of extreme weather occurred during fair week. The normal flurry of excitement was replaced with an all-out scramble to shift horses to higher ground and wait out the storm while also scrambling to save thousands of dollars’ worth of hay, feed, show clothes, tack and equipment. This is one of many issues that need to be addressed to deal with aging infrastructure and the future of the county fairgrounds. The county has indicated at various times the desire to sell and redevelop the property the fairground occupies. That constant fear of being evicted from the fairgrounds has not served the best interests of the youth or the community at large. Sherburne County businesses and residents are overwhelmingly supportive of 4-H programming when made aware of needs and how they can help. But who will invest in updating and improving the aging infrastructure of a fairgrounds under constant threat of eviction and redevelopment of the property? If the long-range plan is to relocate the fairgrounds, then please, let us begin the dialogue to plan out a timeline and details for beginning that endeavor. We need to at least work together to solve the immediate issues to serve our youth of today as well as plan for the future of our youth. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Please, let us not fail our youth any longer. ~ Families of Sherburne County 4-H Note: this letter was sent to all Sherburne County commissioners. The purpose of this post is to raise awareness of safety issues at the Sherburne County fairgrounds. The video captures the July 22, 2023 storm at the county fair and a failing roof leaking into one of the tack/hay stalls. #safety #4H #fair #itsforthekids #horses Please contact your Sherburne County representative and let them know action is needed https://lnkd.in/gcwtPM3J

You have to understand how a fast bowler is built. Their style determines how they move and ultimately how they should bowl. Many bowlers copy their idols, many coaches are taught that there is an ideal bowling action. This leads to many bowlers bowling in the incorrect technique for how they are built. Hip and knee dominance exists in fast bowlers. Whether coaches and organisations choose to listen, acknowledge and implement it is up to others. But I’ve seen too many bowlelrs now to question what I introduced 8 yrs ago. Time can be your friend or foe. Using the wrong technique for each archetype is a recipe for failure or unfulfilled potential Knowledge is power #pacelab #pacelabprinciples #archetype #hiporknee

Buckle up for another episode of Riding with Roddie as he tackles everything from heartfelt moments to unexpected emergencies. In this episode, it’s not just about tickets and stops—there’s a lot more going on when you're patrolling the streets. First, Roddie pulls over a school social worker who’s not upset but incredibly thankful for what cops do every day. It's a rare moment of appreciation that catches you off guard and shows the human side of law enforcement. Then, Roddie stops a Door Dash driver who might be a little too focused on speedy deliveries, but hey, we’ve all been there, right? And finally, things heat up (literally!) when Roddie responds to a kitchen fire at a house full of college students. Watch as he helps them out before the smoke detectors cause more chaos than the actual fire. From moving community connections to quick action in the face of a potential emergency, this episode will show you the true range of what officers like Roddie deal with every day. Hit play and see for yourself! #KDPS #RidingWithRoddie #LawEnforcement #PublicSafety

Wonderful / Relaxing insights to a way of life going back at least 150 years, that few ever experience. As for lifting and practices, the fundamental philosophy of the rigging dates back to pre-history, while they could use some coaching on how philosophy of human interaction with the lifts has evolved. #oldschool #nature #environment https://lnkd.in/gb3VasmW
