What do you do? Oh, I'm a administrator/assistant/payroll officer/recurrent consultant/manager...... Those have been some of my responses throughout the years. I identified as my job. Not only that, I also outside of work, use to talk about work, think about work stuff, and use to associate things in my personal life with work. 'I am' is such a powerful statement. So, consider this: Who would you be if you weren't in the job you are in right now? What would you do if you weren't doing what you do now? Who are you outside and separate from work? We are looking for an Experienced #HR_Operations_Assistant_Manager to join our HR team at #ElSewedy Engineering Industries SEI This role will oversee all HR operational functions, including payroll, benefits administration, insurance, and employee records management, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Work Location: 6th of October (Transportation is provided). Key Responsibilities: · Manage payroll processing, benefits (social and health insurance), and employee attendance. · Ensure accurate and timely compensation, including monthly payroll and bonuses. · Handle all social insurance payments on a monthly basis. · Oversee compliance with labor laws and handle official documentation (e.g., labor and insurance offices). · Provide HR-related data for reporting and collaborate with the Finance department on payroll-related tasks. · Maintain regular HRIS input by collecting relevant employee lifecycle information, such as personal data, contract terms, and benefits and compensation details. · Maintain confidential personnel files for all employees and build effective archiving for all employee documents. · Manage employee leave, including vacation, personal, and sick leaves. · Oversee employee terminations, handle clearance payments, and maintain termination records. · Monitor employee attendance and departure through the fingerprint system, attendance cards, or attendance sheets, and manage payroll impacts. · Assist in implementing and reviewing company policies and benefits programs. I started my payroll career in August of 2015 with no prior experience, and it was certainly a challenge! About six months in, I questioned if I'd ever fully understand payroll and even considered exploring other paths. However, with the help and support of my mentor, I was able to keep pushing forward and everything started to click. After two years in an individual contributor role, I stepped into leadership where I’ve had so many fun and exciting opportunities come my way. I was able to relocate to Nashville, where I assisted in the expansion and growth of an already established HCM company. I then moved to another organization where I built the quality assurance and payroll admin departments from the ground up. This experience paved the way for my move to #ExtensisHR, where the fun really began! Since joining in September 2023, I've had the pleasure of managing the Tampa office, leading an exceptional payroll team, onboarding new employees, ensuring the snacks, drinks, supplies, and computer equipment are always stocked, working with building maintenance on any issues that arise, planning fun and exciting events for the Tampa team… the list goes on! 🐶 What’s the first thing you would do if you won the lottery? This one’s easy! The first thing I would do is buy a house with a big backyard so I could adopt all the dogs at as many shelters as possible. I guess you could call me the crazy dog guy! 💬 What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? Never give up. Early in life I often chose the path of giving up, thinking it was the easiest solution. There was a time though where I finally overcame the “give up” mentality and continued pushing forward instead. By refusing to give up, I experienced a level of success that changed my entire mindset. From that point on, I decided that giving up would never be an option for me again.
