A la carte and "table d'hote" 👈(Set meal )are terms often seen on restaurant menus. - A la carte: This term refers to a way of ordering individual dishes from a menu, with each dish priced separately. Customers can choose dishes from the menu without any fixed number of courses. It allows for more flexibility in selecting dishes but can be more expensive than other options. - Table d'hote: This term refers to a fixed-price menu where a multi-course meal is offered for a set price. Customers have fewer choices compared to à la carte but can enjoy a more complete dining experience with several courses. Table d'hote menus are often a set menu for the day. The term a la carte is of French origin and translates to "according to the menu." "Table d'hote" is also French and translates to "host's table."
