Right now the risk of a false negative in a líquid biopsy Is plausible because of ctDNA, specially in early stages. This articule goes deeper on working in these Challenges.
Using two different techniques, researchers showed they could temporarily boost ctDNA levels in the blood of mice with tumors. With more ctDNA in collected blood draws, a liquid biopsy could better detect cancer, the research team found. https://go.nih.gov/dIlIcBu
