🚀 Very excited about these excellent results in lung cancer combining Cellvizio needle-based endomicroscopy with Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy : 96,5% sensitivity and 100% specificity ! 👏 Kudos to Stéphane Renaud, MD, PhD and his team for this milestone which paves the way to a much improved diagnostic yield for peripheral lung nodules, improved tissue sampling quality amd quantity (essential for molecular and genomics analyses) and overall better treatment planning. 🔭Cellvizio not only gives sight to blind needles, it provides real time microscopic vision, thus helping interventional pulmonologists secure their decisions without additional radiation and in minimal additional time (5 mn).
